"Beautiful views, enhanced by our free room upgrade which gave us uninterrupted views over the lake. Room was kept clean to a good standard throughout our stay, had to prompt for a few extra coffee sachets since we don’t do decaf. Loved the spa, the sauna could be hotter but we didn’t stay for the sauna. Easy access to Queenstown, the hill on the way back can be a little much at the end of the night but there’s always a bus or taxi. Overall very happy"

The staff were very helpful and friendly, and the bar area was quiet and worth a visit for a small night cap drink. The hotel was fully booked and with a central location in Christchurch I can see why this is a popular place to stay being so close to the local bars and restaurants."
