"The cabin was cozy and just what we needed a a stop over on our trip. We enjoyed seeing the drive through lights at Bristol Motor Speedway and the downtown restaurants were good. The cabin was clean and stocked with coffee. We loved hearing the creek outside in the morning. "

"We’ve stayed at a number of VRBO’s and other vacation properties, and we agree that this is the best ever. First, the pictures (which are lovely) understate the property - it is simply beautiful inside and out. From the furniture, linens, and accessories to the original artwork throughout, everything is tastefully and artfully done. We spent hours indoors on the chilly Thanksgiving weekend, and kept remarking at how great it felt to live there.The kitchen is outfitted with everything we needed to cook great meals, with modern appliances, a complete set of accessories and full spice and condiments cabinet.Our hosts were as thoughtful in our interactions as they were in preparing their home - they accommodated a late schedule change and responded quickly to every question. We arrived to find freshly ground coffee and treats from Blackbird Bakery and a fridge stocked with spring water for our use.All in all, a delightful visit that left us renewed and refreshed. We look forward to the next stay!"

"Outstanding location if you are a fly fisherman, with South Holston and Watauga rivers both nearby. It is at the end of a private dead-end road, so you feel truly remote - which I loved. While feeling remote, I actually was close enough to downtown Bristol to have dinner at several excellent restaurants only 20 minutes away. Excellent value for price. Would return next time I fish the area. The owner answered questions accurately and promptly."
