Find a Great Motel South Hill

"Didn’t look bad from the outside. The lobby was even nice. The room…. Never again. The mattress was like concrete with a sheet over it. The bed frame was a big metal box that popped every time i moved! I also noticed the door had a very large gap at the bottom. I could literally sit on the bed and identify every shoe that walked by. Not sure if the place flooded in the past. "

"Not many choices for food other than fast food, a few restaurants in the vacinity, two good restaurants to try are El Ranchero, good mexican food and Fo Sho, pub like atmosphere with good food"

"Overall, our stay was nice. The place was clean. Breakfast staff went out of their way to help when the pancake machine broke. Main complaint is that the indoor pool is not heated so it was like ice. Even if we wanted to get in, the area was dirty, like they weren't expecting people to use it. Some people were also swearing loudly about their "f***ing job" outside our room for quite a while in the morning. The housekeeping staff were a couple of doors down but we can't be sure if it was them. "
