"The Fairfield Inn is conveniently located and easy to access, making it a great choice for travelers. From the moment I arrived, the front desk staff—especially the evening team were warm, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. One feature I especially appreciated was that the window could be opened slightly, allowing fresh air into the room. It made the room feel much more comfortable and refreshing than many hotels with sealed windows. Overall, I had a very pleasant stay. The friendly service and comfortable environment made this a place I would happily choose again."

"The House is very cute and clean. The property is lovely and quiet. We had everything we needed for our long sister’s weekend. The host had a nice binder of info. Taking the trash was simple and close-by. The water pressure in the shower was luxurious and strong. Had some amazing fox sightings that really made for a special experience. Didn’t take advantage of the kayaks. The grill could use a refresh but was still usable. We enjoyed every minute!"

"Our first blended family trip was a great success.A big thank you to Edie at Floatin’ and Boatin’ on Lake Gaston for being a fantastic host and providing the perfect place to relax and enjoy a weekend on the water.We spent the weekend kayaking, wakeboarding, swimming, playing games, enjoying good meals, and catching a few fish—although the biggest catfish of the trip managed to get away.The house had everything we needed, but we have to give special recognition to the bed. We travel quite a bit, and it was easily one of the most comfortable beds we’ve ever slept in. After full days on the lake, there was nothing better than sinking into that bed at night.We truly enjoyed our stay, appreciated the hospitality, and made some great memories along the way. If you’re looking for a place to stay on Lake Gaston, we highly recommend it.Thanks again, Edie!"
