The host (Shawn) and site manager (Amy) were absolutely amazing! I'd had a booking made in 2025 that was cancelled last minute, and both Shawn and Amy ensured that my ever-expanding family would be able to stay for the weekend and be treated with more respect than the other hosts.The location is beautiful! Right on Cranberry Lake and a perfect spot for anyone wanting to fish. This is mostly why people come to the Lodge however, that was not our intent when booking as we just needed somewhere that could put up 7 people at such short notice. We were glad things turned out the way they did as we had a great time!The place was clean, tidy, comfortable and we felt utterly welcome and at home. The units are as described and as per the photos. Bring your own bedding and towels, food, drinks and sense of fun and you'll have a great time.We had one rainy day and spent it inside; some read, some studied, some played board games. It was a perfect day to unwind and we had lots of space to do so :)The view was fantastic from the balcony and we spent a lot of time looking out at the lake. We ventured into it as well and took advantage of the floating platform and ring to swim to and sit on. The weather was gorgeous for the most part and we loved every minute.Great spot if you're looking for peace and quiet and maybe some ice cream from the General Store! We would go back again for sure :)
