About this property

Lost Loft - NEW Waterfront Tiny Cottage. Sleeps 2, off-grid, quiet lake!

  • Escape to simple, sustainable luxury with this brand-new, architecturally designed off-grid tiny home. Perfectly positioned to look out at the lake, this compact sanctuary offers an unparalleled connection to nature without sacrificing modern comfort or style.

Lost Loft is a tiny cottage situated on a large waterfront property on Burridge lake. With a dock and a bonfire pit, we provide you with a world of day and night time fun. We provide a kayak and a paddle board to paddle out to your floating dock for a refreshing swim. The water is too shalow to swim off of the main dock. The newly constructed tiny cottage features a loft with a queen size bed, a powder room inside and a beautiful outdoor shower.

Lost Loft is an off-grid experience, meaning all of your necessities are powered by the rooftop solar panels or propane! Being mindful of power usage throughout the day can help reduce your risk of running out. Propane is used to heat your water on-demand. The cooktop is also run off propane. Water is pumped from the lake which is perfect for showering and doing dishes in the sink but NOT for drinking. Bring your own drinking water! Bring your own firewood. And remember .....off-grid means NO internet!

Host was amazing. He went above and beyond for us, even when things didnt go as planned, he made our stay wonderful. Gave us both a quiet place to relax and enjoy nature. Definitely recommended.

The location and surrounding area were absolutely beautiful, which is why it's so disappointing that the stay itself was overshadowed by ongoing issues with the property's solar power system.Unfortunately, the solar system repeatedly failed throughout our stay, leaving us without reliable electricity and, at times, without basic utilities. They offered to move us, which was then met with hesitation, a lack of communication, and push back. Even when we moved cabins, we experienced multiple blackouts, and when the system fully stoped, we were essentially told there was nothing that could be done (despite it being an off grid cabin). This affected lights, water, and the overall livability of the property. We decided to leave days early in the middle of the night due to the lack of safety and basic utilities. While we understand that off-grid properties can have limitations, we should be able to rely on basic utilities. We have been off-grid camping for a decade and have never experienced something like this before. The setting is stunning, but the ongoing power failures and lack of support made for a very stressful experience. Unless the solar system is made more reliable and communication with guests improves significantly, I would reconsider this property.
