Loved the river, the views, quiet, beautiful sunset, great proximity to other activities, ie horseback riding, rafting, fishing, beautiful scenic drives through the mountains!
The house is nice and location is great, we really enjoyed having the opportunity to stay there, there is plenty of room and the cries are amazing from the deck!
The house was a great place for our family vacation. It’s located right on the the Rio Grande River. We were able to fly fish and kayak right from the house. I would rent this house again.
Beautiful location ! Beautiful home . Just a few hiccups that could have made our stay nicer , trash cans were already full when we arrived which made in very inconvenient. The balcony railing is broken which is very dangerous
The mansion had room for everyone and 3.5 baths! It was really clean and had everything you would need for staying there. It was situated right on the river. Wildlife (Deers) was seen everyday. Not even a mouse to be found, so no worries. Everyone enjoyed the Cabin/Mansion :) Would definitely stay here again!
Great location and facility! The river is right outside your back door. Also reasonably priced. We had two couples and one single so each group had a floor to themselves. Close to Creed where they have top notch professional theare. We went in mid August so just know that at the end of the summer there are very few restuarants open in the evening at Creed or South Fork. I would definately suggest this place for families and large groups.
Cabin was a nice surprise. Great view of the Rio Grand River. Cabin was extremely clean and well equipped kitchen for meals. Maybe replace hand held can opener lol! Beds were very clean and comfortable. We had no issues so no need to call/notify management.
Bring at least one large container to store bread, chips and things of that nature. There are mice (never saw one) on the property, but that is no surprise since there are 2 structures being built a little ways from the cabin. Plenty of towels and other supplies. Will most definitely rent this cabin again. The river view is wonderful with really nice fire pit and seating!
Great looking log home in outstanding South Fork location just steps away from the Rio Grande. Spacious living room and veranda. Easy access off highway. Very clean.Disappointment: Microwave did not work; gas fireplace did not work; Signs in garage said it was not to be used even though the listing said garage available; Electric blinds did not work and were stopped in down position so views could not be fully enjoyed; Outdoor gas grill could not be used as it had not been cleaned and was disgusting. Many light bulbs not functioning including master bath vanity and light fixture over master bath garden tub. Drawers in kitchen and bath cabinets were very difficult to open and some did not have knobs or pulls. Downstairs bedroom did not have a closet. Upstairs closets did not have rods for hanging clothes. Non master baths had only small pedestal sink with no counter space. Certainly a great location but not a very accommodating layout for our group of 8. We would not return to this property.
Great cabin with fire pit literally feet from the Rio Grande river
The fire pit by the river: Unbeatable! The empty lots on either side of the cabin: Great as well We loved our stay. It's a beautiful cabin. The property mngr was super accessible. Caught trout right out of the river in the mornings.I would definitely stay here again.A couple items you should know:1) No motorized vehicles are allowed in those beautifully inviting two car garage photos. None. No cars, no trucks, no atv's. None.2) .... because..... a lot of the available beds are down there off the garage, so makes sense not to have gas fumes down there. By "down there" I mean it's like a basement on the bottom floor. One of the queen beds and 4 other beds (2 bunk beds) are in rooms off the garage. Almost could be a seperate unit down there and seems disconnected from the SWEET suite on the main floor and the 2 comfortable kinda kid's rooms (twin beds) upstairs. The couple that arrived 2nd and got the queen bed down there referred to it as "the dungeon". 🤣3) The neighborhood does not allow ATVs/UTVs, not even parked outside (we left ours on the trailer). But you won't be riding them to town or anywhere else from the cabin.4) The mice mentioned in other reviews definitely make their presence known your first day, lol. They stay out of sight after that for the most part. We picked up some traps in town and by third day we had em mostly contained, but yeh we kept our clean dishes inside the dishwasher!Still... !

No!!We could not lock the front door. Code didn’t work There was a large ice build up on front steps making it dangerous. We let the host know and we were told the team was contacted.
The cabin was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed being by the river. The owner has thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. I highly recommend this property.
This place was very nice! There were a few minor issues we noticed upon check in but nothing that affected our stay and we let the property manager know as we found the issues and always received a response.
This house had everything that everyone wanted for their vacation! Family of 8 adults enjoyed every minute. For the loungers the oversized living room with picture windows right out onto the river or the full length porch with river views was the perfect book reading and crocheting spot. For the active, walking the 30 steps to the river to fish or hike on nearby walkable mountains was any easy fit. The kitchen was ample for cooking all our meals including a grill out back and having full size laundry facilities available was a welcome bonus. 5 rooms was plenty with a room to spare. House was clean and well kept and we'll be back.
This was a great place to crash while we were enjoying local snowmobiling great set up. It’s worth noting two of the bedrooms are access through the garage, which was fine we just did not realize that was the case.
We enjoyed our stay! The property worked out great for our large group. Conveniently located close to town, right on the river & a short drive to Creede.
The only thing I would recommend would be a few more accessories for the kitchen-serving utensils, bowls etc.
Otherwise, the property was wonderful!

Property wasn’t ready to use according to city
Nice place
Had mice
Got splinters from the raw wood
Police chief came and said the cabin couldn’t be rented because paperwork wasn’t completed.
We couldn’t checking intel 3 hours later, no heat from the fireplace or heater a week later someone came and fixed the fireplace, heater was never fixed, The master bedroom saw dust falls all the time, you wake up with saw dust in your mouth and ears. Unwind doesn’t want to refund one day since we left early due to the issue or discount. Do not rent anything that is managed by Unwind.
Beautiful location on the river. A large cabin that was perfect for a large family group. This is a newly built cabin built with unfinished wood. So be careful about getting splinters when holding onto handrails. The other concern was several mice in the cabin. We understand we’re out in the wilderness, however, a recommendation would be that plastic storage bins be provided to prevent mice from getting into food in the cabinets. These concerns did not prevent us from enjoying our vacation. The rental company was also quick to respond to the concern about the mice and scheduled a treatment to take place right away in addition to the monthly treatment.
The bottom bedroom with the queen bed was awful. There were obnoxious clicking noises all night long, I’m assuming from either the water heater or room heater. The house could use an iron, strainer and ice cream scoop. The fire place was not working and not mentioned beforehand. Not only was it not working but a really cold draft blew through it, so much so that they tried covering it with plastic wrap.
