10/10 Excellent

"Property was well maintained, pool bar was great with great music, friendly bartenders. Restaurants were ok but expensive. Drinks also at all the bars were expensive. It’s a great resort just come ready to SPEND. The restaurants outside of the resort were GREAT!!! Great authentic puerto rican at a fraction of the cost. An uber cost max. Of $12 to any restaurant. Palomino beach was great with food and drinks available. "

"With the right expectations, a true gem and great value. Gorgeous, expansive pools (2!); tasty, reasonably-priced restaurant onsite (Blue Iguana, ate there twice); beautiful landscaping although faded-looking buildings. Our 1-Queen room was quiet, spacious, looked newly updated, working AC, great view of patio and ocean/mountains. The WiFi was so slow, would not stream Netflix or other services on the TV. No walkable beach access, but with a rental car Seven Seas Beach is 100% worth conquering the 10-15min drive. We would definitely stay again if we ever return to Fajardo."

"The location was not the best, but close to the airport. The room was not as described, but the worst part was that it reeked of mildew smell. I could barely sleep. A terrible way to spend my first night in Puerto Rico. They should not be charging anything to stay there. Someone could really get sick. "

"Beautiful property and rooms. However, at this price we were expecting 7 star service and that was not the case. The staff at the pool/bar/restaurant seemed to be bothered when we asked for service. They mostly congregated by the towel area and checked their phones more than they us. You can get far better service in other cheaper hotels. We were hoping to lounge and be take n care of but instead we were told about a 4pm last call (not offered anything) and when the birds took half the breakfast we were never offered a replacement or refund. If you’re looking to go relax and lounge and be taken care of this is not the place for you. Even the Greek restaurant forgot to give us silverware and napkins prior to bringing our food. Extremely disappointing experience."

"Really helpful and friendly staff in an aptly located property (only if you have a car). The ones complaining about the coqui frogs should avoid traveling to a rainforest in the first place - we found it to be soothing. Highly recommend if your plan is to explore eastern Puerto Rico while being close enough to visit San Juan. The few things to improve (also pointed out by other guests) which were not a deal-breaker for us: - the mustiness in the rooms can be prevented by adding shower doors and running the AC at all times/adding vent fans to the bathrooms. I think it is caused by the shower water spraying all over the bathroom floor, the container isn't really a structure that breathes. - the placement of AC right above the bed was a bit too much. - a dedicated larger space for drying clothes would be helpful."
