"We were given a very warm welcome from our host. The cottage is very cozy and comfortable. It has been updated and was very clean and well taken care of. It is up among grape vineyards and gardens surrounded by beautiful forested hills. The owner was very knowledgeable about the culture and area contacts. For us, it really seemed like "heaven on earth". We want to return."

"We come yearly to ljubljana l, but this was the first time we stayed at this location. The location of the studio is perfect, communication and self-check-in is smart, easy and fast. I loved how to open the doors with the picture, brilliant. The studio itself has everything you need, including a complete kitchenette and airco and is in perfect condition. "We received the check-in instruction the day before, everything went smoothly. Parking right beside of the apartment gate, very useful to have the apartment on the ground floor for luggage. Apartment looked new, kitchen has no oven or microwave or dishwasher or washing machine, but well equipped to cook small meals. It is like 2km from the town center or less than 10min drive. Neighbourhood feel safe. "

The room was dark as the amount of daylight enters through two small windows at ceiling height is very less. "We loved staying at the Occidental Ljubljana. The rooms were spotless and the location is excellent - steps away from old town. However, one caution is that the bathroom is not a traditional layout. The sink is fully open and visible to anyone in the room (no walls at all) and the shower and toilet are in separate stalls. If you prefer to change in the bathroom or use the sink in private, it is a bit difficult in this bathroom layout. But other than that, it is an excellent hotel."
