New!! Beautifully Renovated 5 Bedroom, 5.5 Bath Heart of Snowmass Village Home

Beautifully decorated 4000 sqft 5 bed and 5½ bath home, in Ridge Run (0.8 miles to the heart of Snowmass Village) sits on a .7 acre lot (and 4500 sq ft leveled/sodded back yard) with sweeping views of the mountains, brings a feeling of being submerged in nature and is centrally located to everything Snowmass and Aspen has to offer. This home, recently renovated (2016), has: 2 fireplaces (1 wood, 1 gas); new hardwood floors and carpet; a large sectional leather couch; tons of windows creating lots of light; 7 TVs with 400 channels (HBO/Showtime/STARZ/Cinemax/Netflix) from Xfinity/Comcast (65” TV in great room and additional TV's in the play room and all 5 bedrooms); and a large dining room table (seats 10) with adjoining bar with 4 bar stools (collectively seating 14) and a 30 foot built in wrap around sitting area make this the perfect entertaining home for all to enjoy summer or winter activities. This home has ski access (intermediate skiers) on to Assay Hill (a 100 yard walk and hop on in front of the Deer Brook Condos – see photo with ski route access). Dial-A-Ride provides private transportation (on call direct to front door that arrives in less than 10 minutes) to and from the Snowmass Base Village. Less than a mile to Base Village Parking, special permit parking passes are also available upon request. The 1000 square foot outdoor deck with hot tub, large gas barbeque grill (and separate charcoal smoker/grill) and outdoor furniture create an unforgettable experience in Rocky Mountains. The over-sized chef’s kitchen (with an island) is equipped with stainless steel appliances including a subzero refrigerator, a double oven, 3 dishwashers, an ice maker and every appliance or convenience of your own home (2 coffee makers, toaster, blender, cookware). Each bedroom has its own dedicated bathroom (4 bedrooms have en suite baths and the other is adjoining). Bedroom configuration is: 3 rooms each with king beds; 1 room 2 queen beds; and, bunk room with 2 bunk beds - 4 twins. All bathrooms have granite counter-tops and large stall showers. The home comes with brand new sheets, linens, duvets, blankets, towels and bathmats (February 2018). This home has an over-sized 2 car heated garage, lots of storage and a large newly paved driveway with lots of parking. Daily maid service is available upon request. Local property management services provided for assistance with any and all needs (reservations, shopping, provisions/groceries delivered, private chef, airport pick-ups, driver services). We provide all the amenities you would expect in a hotel in order to make your make your trip hassle free.

Great house, accommodated our large group. Great views from the large living space. If you are an avg skier and are in good shape you can access Assay Hill from the house in 5 minutes going down, 10 minutes going up. Skiing was awesome while we were there!

A wonderful home for a family vacation!

We had a wonderful family vacation! We loved the five bedroom house and we were very comfortable with our group of nine people. The kitchen is well equipped and was perfect for the dinners we made each night. We enjoyed the spa after skiing and the incredible views. The great room was a perfect place to play games. The House at Snowmass is conveniently located to the ski hill and very comfortable for a larger group. The great room is a perfect spot to enjoy friends and family and the kitchen has all you need to cook a great meal for everyone. Perfect house for family and friends. Great for entertaining. We rented it for our daughter's wedding and were very pleased with the amenities and flow of the house. Comfortable for large groups

The house was an excellent size and very comfortable for our group of 9. The main living area and kitchen have been updated to a high standard. . The living and dining areas could have comfortably handled a larger group. Each of the 5 bedrooms had their own bathrooms and had very comfortable beds and linens. The bathrooms hadn’t been updated and could use some functionality upgrades however. After a long day skiing, the outdoor hot tub was well used and everyone enjoyed the long mountain vistas. There is a nice ski storage area off the heated garage. As noted in the listing , this is not ski in/out. Our fitter members could do the walk down the road and back up but using the taxis to get to and from the slopes was key (although you could have a 45 minute wait to get home some days). Overall very comfortable house for a large group.

Spacious well equipped house

The house had everything we needed. Lots of space for everyone. Couldn’t ask for anything more. It snowed a good bit while we were there and the drive way was always plowed and the snow always shoveled off the deck. When we had a small issue w the hot tub and one of the ovens, the owner, David had someone out immediately. The only thing I’d would have done differently is rent a car, the dial a ride was not timely always. When they were available it was great and only a $1 a person. Uber and Lyfts are limited especially in the snowmass area. When in aspen Uber drivers often cancel when they know you are going back to snowmass. Shuttle buses work great between aspen, buttermilk, highlands and snowmass.

Second Stay Was Great!

This is the second time we have stayed at this property and it is a fantastic place to gather with friends. The great room has a wood burning fire place with large TV, plentiful seating options and a large dining table. It is a great place to hang out! The hot tub on the deck has great views and we used the outdoor grill to cook two dinners. The five bedrooms can accommodate a lot of different sleeping options and the owner offers a queen size inflatable bed as well. For those who need to do some work while away, there is a great den area off the main room where you can have some privacy but still feel connected to your group. Most importantly, the owner, David, is super flexible to deal with and takes a real interest in the guest experience. Through no fault of David's or his management team, I did have to mark the check in process and cleanliness down to 4 stars due to the labor shortages in the area. Our cleaning crew struggled to complete turnover on our day of arrival and did not leave until 6:30 pm. They were terribly rushed and were not able to clean the house to the level they normally do. This did not affect our overall satisfaction score, but guests coming to the area should be aware that the labor shortages nationally are being felt locally and should be understanding of how hard everyone is working. I highly recommend this home for a great ski stay!

The property was in excellent condition with wonderful modern appliances, including two large washer/Dryers, two dishwashers, even a separate ice maker. WOW!

Wow! This is possibly the best place in snowmass for the money. It's within walking distance to the slopes and the views are breathtaking. The house is super modern and has tons of room for big groups. David was a great host. He's very responsive and personable. Great person to deal with and great house to stay in. Highly recommend this spot if you're on the fence.

Great owner and management of the house, staff making sure snow shoveled from decks and hot tub cleaned. Location is good and for ski in/out you need to be good skier/boarder to make tracks. WIFI is very good, no issues with connectivity. Social area of the home is upgraded, great deck, very clean home, only comment for improvement is bathroom showers in bedrooms are somewhat outdated.

Wonderful Family Getaway

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful property! David was so helpful and truly wanted us to have the best experience at his home. The family room was a favorite spot for all of us to hang out. The large dining table was perfect for meals and also to host our games in the evening. The comfortable window seats and the cozy fireplace were well used by all of us. The views of the mountains from every room in the house were breathtaking! The private hot tub on the deck was also a wonderful treat after a day of skiing. We all enjoyed the comfortable beds and en suite bathrooms and the entire house was incredibly clean. Lastly, the location is great. It is a short drive to the village, restaurants, shops and Clark’s the local grocery store. We would highly recommend this home and we booked it again for next year. Family Ski Trip

First, the owner, David, is great to work with. This trip was re-planned from a year ago when the pandemic shut down ski mountains everywhere. David worked with me over the course of the following year to re-book our trip; throughout he was understanding, fair and funny. Vrbo is ultimately a platform of individual homeowners and it is a pleasure to work with those who are invested in making your vacation plans come true. Second, the somewhat nondescript exterior of this house belies an interior that has been remodeled around a great set of "bones." The main shared area consisting of a living room, dining area and kitchen has window seats where you can stretch out and enjoy great views of the mountains outside or the fireplace inside. There is a small nook where kids can curl up with their iPad and a great "satellite" room with a game table and six chairs. All the decor is modern but comfortable/inviting. It is a dramatic space but cozy at the same time. Outside on the main deck there is a fantastic hot tub that we squeezed six people into -- which is awesome because that is where my family likes to end the day after skiing 6-8 hours. I have stayed at much larger homes that undersize the hot tub or tuck them into unattractive areas -- at this home the hot tub is large and commands great views from the center of the deck looking at the mountain and resort area. Third, the bedrooms really worked for our group as most have bathrooms en suite, allowing us all to get ready in the morning and evening without being on top of one another. The master bath shower has a dramatic 12' ceiling with a skylight and steam jets -- when I needed extra heat after the hot tub, I enjoyed this amenity! Finally, the location is very good and close to everything in Snowmass. It is not, however, ski-in or ski-out without a hike -- we did walk to the end of the road and drop in on a hiking trail for a short ski down to the Assay Hill lift; we. also trudged up this route one day to get home. It is doable, but only if conditions allow and you are up for the extra exertion. We drove to the public lot under the Limelight and paid $30 for our group to hit the hills the other day. (Trips to Ajax and Highlands are both about 15-minute drives, but well worth it!) Very few of the homes nearby can ski-in/ski-out, so if that is your priority, you may want to consider other alternatives. Overall, I would definitely return to this home and rent from this owner.
