"This was a perfectly kept property within a beautiful neighborhood. Lots of wild flowers around the property and the morning scent of the Smokey Mountains. We saw fireflies at night which was awesome."
Rockhouse Bryson City, NC Walk to train and downtown shops and restaurants.
8/10 Good
"The location is great. Anything in Bryson City is easily walkable. It's also got plenty of space. The four bedrooms are four legitimate bedrooms and the kitchen is big, making it a great spot for families. It also has a gas grill, which was not clear from the listing. The host is super nice and responsive. There was an issue with the plumbing while we were there. The host was quick to respond and he travelled to Bryson City immediately to help it get taken care of. He even gave us a credit because of it. He did everything he could have with a bad situation, which I appreciated, but it still threw our weekend a little off. The house is also slightly more worn than I expected. The furniture is nice and the kitchen is great, but some of the doors and tables are a little more worn. This was built as a home. That's charming, but it means that some of it comes with some wear. On the whole I feel bad giving this four stars. It's a nice place! The host is great. You should stay here."
"Relax Inn was just what we wanted for a stay in Bryson City. It was small and cozy with everything we needed and obviously had been updated with a great shower, very comfortable bed, and great WIFI/TV service. We were within walking distance of downtown and the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad. If we'd had more time, we would definitely have made use of the rocking chairs outside our door while drinking coffee. We would definitely stay here again if and when in Bryson City."
"This place is amazing, gorgeous and very clean. We basically had our own little house and we were in the movie gallery room. Absolutely wonderful and brings you back into time. Very tastefully decorated. Everything was very comfortable and welcoming! The added bonus for us was the friendly tail less cat! Omg! I would bring her home in a heartbeat!"
