"The owner and host were Great!! The property was pretty perfect and even nicer than i expected. Getting there was easy from the boat ride to being brought to the property. The Captain of the Jason is right across the street and his wife manages the property. There were 6 of us and from using the bikes, renting a golf cart and walking it was super easy getting around. My brother and I kayaked across to an Island near the inlet with the kayaks on property and it is beautiful there. Looks like great fishing at the right time of year. All the seafood was spot on!!"

"This was a last min trip so it was a lot of info to gather in less a day but we did it and we made the ferry on time and we got here on a very hot and humid day. The ferry ride was fun and the dog didn’t seem to mind it. We should have mapped out where the house was better because when we arrived we were walking with our suitcases and dog and it was hot! We did finally arrive and the house was just as described. The water was right behind the house and the island was so peaceful. We relaxed and took the dog for a walk and got some food at the local restaurant - crab cakes were so good! We enjoyed our time on Smith Island - don’t forget to try the Smith Island Cake, the bakery is two doors away! Thanks for letting us share your little piece of heaven here in the middle of the Chesapeake! "

"We had a nice quiet week in this adorable and clean home just relaxing in the pool and spending time in the kayaks. We ventured out for some yummy Mexican food for dinner, ice cream in Reedville, and the nearby cafe to try their cappuccino and breakfasts but otherwise spent a nice family week playing games and swimming. "

"My sister and I have always wanted to visit Smith Island. This house was perfect! Well appointed, comfortable, great location and terrific host. The golf cart was such a huge bonus. We had amazing water tours, walked, relaxed, spotted more birds than we could count. Everyone on the island was beyond friendly. Just had a wonderful time which was amplified by the great accommodations! "
