"Good hotel in a quite location"

"Arrived at around 9:45pm and struggled to gain entry but eventually a grumpy member of staff answered the bell and immediately told me I was too late and check in closed at 8:30pm. He recanted eventually and rudely told me where to park in the overgrown unkempt car park next to an apparently abandoned car and close to two residents on plastic chairs apparently enjoying an evening spliff. "The room was clean but a little basic. The reason I can't give this hotel a higher score is because it was near two or three bars, and it was very noisy. People coming in to the hotel at 2 am very noisy. It's kind of funny because one of the free accessories in the room where earplugs.
