"I'd give this hotel a 4.5 star review. We stayed 4 nights. It was a quiet, convenient (for us) location, the staff are very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Our room was spacious (though did not provide any luggage racks), and was clean. Where they need to improve: I did not think the pillows were very comfortable, and the towels in the bathroom had stains and were a bit threadbare. (they were clean, but too much wear and tear for this level of hotel.) Would I stay here again? Yes."

"Despite being an older property this hotel has kept the best of the past and integrated it with currently accepted standards. The hotel and staff couldn't be better. The room was comfortable and had a lovely table next to the window seating area for two with a large table next to the window. Walking to your room every staff member greeted you with a welcome and a smile. The location was great and for our first visit to Waterford itvset the stage."

"The location on the outskirts of Waterford is ideal for outings to e.g. the Copper Coast drive or to Mount Congreve Gardens. The hotel is clean, modern and very stylish. My room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. My evening meals in the restaurant were very good. My only critical observation would be that perhaps the waiters could be a little more courteous. All in all, I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Waterford."

"Cute place to stay above a lovely pub and on the water. Good value for money. Pros: dog friendly, beach access, beverage tray with sparkling water and tea/instant coffee and a kettle (always nice). Little things that could be improved: there was no full size bath towel, just a hand towel and shower mat, window had been left ajar for fresh air (which is great) but meant that by the time I arrived, there were a ton of knats/midges/little bugs inside and outside the window."
