The best area to stay in Skoulli is within the village itself for a traditional Cypriot experience, or slightly outside for more secluded options with views of the countryside.

For those seeking an authentic village experience, staying directly within Skoulli offers convenience and a glimpse into local life. The village is small and easily navigable on foot, with a central church and a few local tavernas where you can enjoy traditional Cypriot cuisine. It's a quiet area, great for unwinding and experiencing the slower pace of rural living.

Families often find staying in a villa just outside the main village particularly appealing. These properties typically offer more space, private pools, and stunning views of the surrounding Paphos forest and the valley. It provides a peaceful retreat while still being a short drive from Skoulli's amenities and the coastal towns of Polis and Latchi, which are known for their beaches and boat trips.

The best time to go to Skoulli is during the spring (April to June) and autumn (September to November) months.

During these periods, the weather is pleasantly warm, with average temperatures ranging from 20°C to 28°C, making it ideal for outdoor activities like hiking, cycling, and exploring the local villages. You'll avoid the intense heat of the summer and the cooler, wetter winter months, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable trip.

Couples often find these seasons superb for a romantic getaway. The countryside is lush, and the vineyards are either in bloom or ready for harvest, offering beautiful scenery. You can enjoy long walks through the Paphos Forest or visit nearby wineries for tastings without the crowds of peak summer.

For those looking for a relaxing break, the shoulder seasons provide a more tranquil experience. The beaches along the nearby coast, such as those near Polis and Latchi, are less crowded, allowing for peaceful sunbathing and swimming in the clear waters.
