"The staff is very nice, but the property is definitely not worth the price. We had issues with the AC unit, which they tried to tell us if they can the central AC was not turned on. Did not make any sense. We didn’t sleep at all as it was very hot in our room. We also had issues with the construction outside our hotel. The location is extremely loud so you can forget about sleeping as there is a very loud restaurant right outside the hotel door blasting music until all hours of the night. The photos of this hotel are very deceiving online. It is definitely not luxurious. For the money I spent, I am very disappointed in the accommodations. Save yourself some money and stay elsewhere! "

"The Astor is an 8 minute walk with a 23kg bag from the blue train line at Syntagma station to the front reception desk. It has a fabulous view of the Acropolis at the breakfast area. There are two convenience stores within 100 metres of the front reception desk. There are numerous bakeries and coffees shops aswell very nearby. Breakfast is very decent. I would rate the hotel value for money and very well positioned for a few days in this ancient capital. "

"Breakfast was amazing! The rooms are clean, but some areas of the rooms are very load the street over has a nightclub, and you can hear it very clearly when your windows are closed. Luckily, we asked to switch rooms and didn't have a problem afterwards "

"Breakfast was excellent with view of the acropolis. Staff is very accommodating and nice. Room was spacious and comfortable bed. Right next to Ermou street for shopping and a short walk to all the historic sites and neighborhoods. Thanks to the staff for providing a take out breakfast as we had to check out at 530am to catch our flight back to the US. Will stay again on our next visit to Athens!!!"
