We like that it's city center, has free on-site parking. Bathroom is carpeted, which is unusual. But overall property is clean.

If things were as stated you should have mentioned it to us during your stay and we would have more than happily attempted to put things right for you. Generally all our reviews, particularly relating to cleanliness are excellent, so we are shocked to hear that your stay was marred in this way.

Very disappointed of the room bed sheets wasn’t nice pillow slips had stains on them it wasn’t worth the money I paid I have stayed in a lot of nice place and cheaper.

We're very sorry to hear you felt that way. We do find it strange as virtually every review we get states how clean our B&B is and what good value it represents. It would have been nice to have had the chance if there were issues to address them during your stay.

The location of the B&B was central to Skipton and featured free parking. The room was very small for three adults and was at the top of the building in the roof space with a leaning roof - I would advise that this room would be best suited to a family with a young child. The staff were very helpful. Some of the furnishings and fittings were a little jaded and could do with a refresh, that said we were only staying one night to visit the castle and so this was perfectly adequate for our needs. I would stay again but perhaps request a room with a bit more headroom.

Good place to stay
Well located in the town centre. Single room was a good size with a bath rather than a shower. Very clean.

Property was very close to town center and amenities. It was easy to find and check in was straightforward. Room was very clean,with fridge,tv, wifi,plenty of towels,pillows,toiletries. Impressive welcome pack with lots of useful information on things to do and places to go.God recommendations too .Host was on hand should anything be needed very professional service

location is great, beds very comfortable and nice clean room, the en-suite shower room needs some TLC, taps on backwards, flooring and general appearance old and tired, shower poor, that aside would stay here again due to its great location

Great location
Great location with free parking. Room comfortable and very clean. Could do with bedside lights on both sides. Nice breakfast. No complaints.

Very central to Skipton Town centre. We went for the Christmas Market which in itself was the best we have been to for a good number of years. The property is well tucked away so its very quiet at night. Very spacious bathroom with shower and nicely decorated. The property is lots of rooms like flats, all together on two floors, each one individually locked. Over all, a very nice place to stay, well priced and friendly.

The location is fantastic and the owner was lovely. The room was very basic for the price. We stayed in room 2, you could feel the springs in the mattress and the choice of bedding was poor - brown sheets and red duvet cover. These could easily be changed to make the room look better and be more comfortable

Welcoming and helpful. Very central and room clean and functional. A lot of noise from next room was rather disturbing but not the host's fault. Maybe a bit more choice at breakfast eg fruit, yoghurt. Overall, good.

Nice welcome from the owner and everything was explained. Very clean room with plenty of space to move. The bathroom was spacious too. I liked that there was a full length mirror with a socket nearby so I could dry my hair easily. There were plenty of tea bags/coffee/milks so we didn't have to ask for more for the morning. Breakfast was nice and although we were asked to order the night before there was no problem for us as we only eat cooked breakfast when away. If I had one 'complaint' it's the noise of other guests moving around in the room above. This may bother some people. We would stay here again.

Very close to the centre of everything in Skipton. The hosts were the friendliest and most helpful we've come across yet. It helped that we had a room on the ground floor and didn't to carry luggage upstairs. I have nothing bad to say about either the B&B, our hosts or Skipton.

It seemed odd to go out and round the corner for breakfast, but that was a minor problem. Seeing the car workshop next door was off-putting, but there was no noise or disruption to our stay. The property was very close to the High Street and therefore very convenient.
