"Property was overall clean and well maintained. Check in was friendly, quick, and easy to locate room. Breakfast in the morning was a plus - juice, water, coffee, some meat, cheese, bread and other items. Although it is right off of the main road where cars and bikes pass, the noise is nothing to make a big fuss over. Bathroom seemed renovated. Overall for the price I enjoyed the stay and will stay again this week once I return from Skopelos. "

Definitely 5 star hotel with all amenities needed. The staff were the nicest people in Athens who made us feel special. "We had to seek emergency accommodation after the floods and were lucky to get a suite/room at the Somnia. Nobody had wifi so the owner couldn't tell if our booking was real or not but let us stay for longer than our booking until we could safely get off the island. The room was huge and had a dining and kitchen area too. He put his team in to emergency clean up mode as the island had flooded and there was a lot of mess and damage at the hotel at ground floor level. We had no running water or flushes but the owner and his partner were so helpful and kind when they were under immense stress and pressure. It was really sad to see the destruction. The location was great for the port, probably better than our main hotel booking (Punta) so we may book at this hotel next year."

"Beautiful view from our balcony and communal area round the front of the property. Very clean with great facilities and air con, the wifi was not the best so be prepared. Very steep walk up to the property which is doable if you are quite active, would recommend to have a car or motorcycle otherwise. Close to a bus stop, nice supermarket and town centre. "
