We stayed at Margi House for a week, Andrea is a very kind person, he explained to us everything about the island and advised us how to get around. The structure is located in a central area to visit the whole island. See you soon

Overall, a very good stay in a lovely hotel with amazing staff and lovely views. Pro's; Very cheap hotel and what is on offer greatly outweighs the price. The staff are incredible, anything that was requested was adhered to and offered everything they could to help. A lovely pool and jacuzzi available at all times. Lovely views. Great location away from the hustle and bustle but with shops, bars and restaurants within 10 minutes walk. Very nice sized rooms for the price paid. Very efficient air con. Cons; If you're not into walking the hill up to the hotel can be a bit much, we were fine with it, but i would recommend a quad or a car if you struggle with steep hills. No breakfast or food options, but enough amenities around that this isn't an issue. The greek sanitary system (not the hotels fault, but due to other inconsiderate families constantly flushing toilet paper down the loo, our bathroom flooded which was rather unpleasant, but the staff were amazing in how they dealt with this) Pro's outweigh the cons but a landslide and the staff are an asset to the hotel. We had an amazing stay and if we ever come back to Skiathos we wouldn't hesitate to book here again, maybe just in a different room due to the ignorant other guests.

We had a very good stay here- we had two rooms over our three day stay, both equally charming and comfortable. The staff were helpful, particularly on the first night when our plane was delayed. We liked the location, a short walk from bus stop fifteen, about 15 mins by bus from town. The short sharp hill meant lovely views. Tavernas and a small shop for essentials were conveniently nearby. All in all good value

A wonderful 10 night stay at Margi House. Bed was very comfortable. Air con was blissful. Cleaned really well daily with fresh towels. Swimming pool was exceptional. Loads of sunbeds & cleaned daily. Andreas at Margi House was exceptional. Ordering taxis and giving us lots of local knowledge The free nespresso coffee was bonus. A few bars/restaurants within easy walking that were great.

liked that beds were made every day and room cleaned and that we wernt woken up for the cleaning oo early in the morning disliked that lighting to steps down to road and outside rooms wernt on early enough and at times were in darkness disliked that swimming pool turned green after 8 days of a 14 day holiday and couldnt be used again

Oasi lontana dal caos del porto

A 15 min di motorino dal caotico porto di Skyatos. Zona super tranquilla dove potersi rilassare tra tanto verde, piscina e idromassaggio. Molto apprezzato che diano anche i teli per la piscina. Personale educato e sorridente. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Punti di miglioramento maggiore cura del prato e pulizia della piscina .

Cleanliness and friendly staff!! Traditional layout. Lovely location, there is a steep hill up but totally worth it. Lovely gardens and pool, with breathtaking views.

Firstly - the location of Margi House. Stunning views, almost on a par with staying at a similar property in Koukanaries. The rooms were very clean, and the daily attention to the room from the housekeeper much appreciated. The beds were extremely comfortable. We were little disappointed with the facilities on offer in the small kitchen area but were only using it to cook breakfast. A non-stick pan would have helped, along with a spatula (we had to use a cake slice to scrape the food off the pan). A chopping board would also have helped. Knowing about the steep slope up to the property was not the same as experiencing it. We didn’t expect it be so long (or, indeed, so steep). I only attempted climbing up once – this left me so breathless that I didn’t try again – thank goodness we had hired a car. Our main disappointment was the lack of Reception facilities. We were not greeted by the owners but were left to manage with the assistance of staff with very little knowledge of English. The owners didn’t appear at any time during the week, which made us feel somewhat undervalued, we were warned the Reception area may not be manned, but we did expect to meet the owners at some point. They did text a greeting of welcome, which did not compensate for personal contact. We were the only guests the week we stayed and had there been an emergency (medical or otherwise), I don’t know how we would have coped. It was difficult to gain any information about taxis, or restaurants in the area.

Studios in collina

Camere in piena campagna, a 6-7km dal porto-centro di skiathos. Necessario un mezzo (non cinquantino) perché per arrivare alle camere c’è una salita molto ripida. Taxi dall’aeroporto €22. Asciugamani cambiate ogni 2 giorni e presenza insetti vista la campagna. Nel complesso si sta bene, consigliato. Grazie dimitri.

Havre de paix

Nous sommes restés 4 nuits dans cet hôtel situé en retrait de la route principale menant aux plages. Notre chambre, idéalement située en rez-de-jardin, était propre, bien équipée avec une déco un peu désuète. Salle de bain petite. Terrasse agréable pour le petit-déjeuner (ombre) donnant sur une pelouse bien entretenue et la piscine surplombant la mer. Environnement arboré et très paisible, bienvenu car Skiatos est une île assez touristique. Petite supérette à proximité. Accueil discret.
