"I was content with my stay. To learn the downtown area of Dublin as a first visit it was handy. The staff were great and helpful. I could do laundry. It was convenient for the bus tours I took and lots of shops around for snacks. Pubs were small and crowded in that area. But I had only popped in on a match day. Occasionally noisy but overall the mattress was comfortable. USB ports and reading light in my pod. A bit rougher area but I’m 60 and a solo traveller "

I enjoyed my stay. 20 min walk to central Dublin and it's a nice easy flat walk. The surrounding area seemed safe and quiet. There were some unusual bumps at night! But I used earplugs, just seemed to be a lot of activity in the apartment block also, the bed was a bit lumpy but nothing I couldn't sleep on and through. "We stayed for a few nights and found it was lovely and big campus. We weren't told where to have breakfast and we got lost trying to find it, then we didn't get told what we could eat in terms of our coupons and we didn't get to eat the following two days after paying for it. The room was standard but good enough for staying in for sleeping, the sink was leaking, the tap was cracked and we got soaked in the rain and the radiator didn't even turn on. "The hostel is located at the center of the city. Close to everything. Bus stop is just in front of the front-door, and there is a supermarket next to the hostel. The only disadvantage for me is the noise. The bathroom is in the room, so when people using the toilet or taking the shower, it’s quite loud. Overall, it’s good place and price for shot staying."

"This was a good choice for a 1 night stay. If staying several nights in Dublin, I would probably go elsewhere. The location was very good: a short walk to the Liffey River and touristy section of Dublin. The immediate Area of LIVStudent Dublin was less touristy and had some good pubs (Cobblestones has good live music, Walsh's Pub had great atmosphere, bartenders, and friendly locals) and restaurants (Lavanda, Wuff). The room was comfortable and we loved the small kitchen, it was so convenient! We loved how eco-friendly the property strives to be and the fact that there were laundry facilities on site was great too. We would definitely stay there again. "
