Further along the coastline, Mablethorpe (10.5 miles) has a charming promenade and more golden sands, while inland, walkers will love the trails, rolling hills and hidden valleys of the Lincolnshire Wolds. At the southern tip of this National Landscape, historic market town Spilsby (14 miles) offers further retail opportunities, while foodie-haven Louth (22 miles) is home to a magnificent mix of Georgian and Victorian architecture plus the tallest steeple of any medieval parish church in Britain.
