"The room was Ok at first. I wasn’t the cleanest but it wasnt outright dirty either. I wouldn’t walk barefoot on the carpet - it was gross. The worst part was roaches in the bathroom. I checked out as soon as I saw them. I woke up to roaches on the bathroom counter. I packed and checked out. When I checked out the ladies were told about the roaches and all they could say is sorry. Not a place I would recommend staying. "

"We didn't receive our check-in directions until 2 hours after check-in time and not until I contacted VRBO. Once I did, the response was ok via the app, but not quick. Rooms were spotless and well appointed. Access was through a bar patio where people were smoking and enjoying drinks. Not an issue for us but may be for some."

"Cute little home. Had all the extras you sometimes need. Toys & coloring books for kids, baby gear, dog water bowls, bed & toys, extra food storage baggies & plastic wrap were helpful for our day at the zoo. The home was clean. Parking was occasionally difficult but that's street parking for ya. Our 4 dogs enjoyed the yard. I appreciated that the yard was securely fenced and they were able to roam. - always had to keep an eye on them though because we had chihuahuas and German Shepherds- my little dogs love to be escape artists. My kiddos loved the extra drinks and snacks provided for them by the host. My only complaint would be that the toilet is way too close to shower. I'm 5'5 and I just barely fit to sit down. I know that's not an easy fix though, so I don't fault the host. The house was clean and didn't stink of artificial fragrance, though some unscented dish soap & hand soap would have been appreciated. Most soaps are just too fragrant and colored- lol not necessary. The location was great! 10-20 minutes to the zoo, the dome, smookin bones bbq, pipers tea & coffee, the breakfast corner restaurant (amazing), and clementine's naughty or nice Creamery (must try!) "

"Great home for our long weekend stay in St. Louis! The kitchen was well stocked for us to cook our meals, and the living room, dining room, kitchen area was very comfortable and nice to visit with family. Bed was comfy and lots of amenities for young children. Off street parking in back of house was so convenient. Neighborhood is very quiet and convenient! We'll be back!"

"Beware: most pictures in the listing are deliberately taken from angle that hides something. This rental is in a high-crime area - even for St. Louis - and offers very little comfort. Furniture is very worn. WiFi is unreliable outside of the living room. Street parking is sketchy if available at all. Cigarette smoke - and other smoke - wafts in from neighbors. We heard yelling in the street every night."

"We have been coming to St Louis annually because our grandkids live 90 minutes away and it's a great city with lots to do. The house was spacious for our group of 8, it is centrally located and the host was easy to communicate with. Emily checked on is as soon as we checked on. On our 3rd night there was a tornado warning and she immediately checked on is to ensure we were aware. Looking forward to booking again. "
