"We had a WONDERFUL stay at Arribas Sintra Hotel. The sound of waves on the beach was so soothing. The buffet breakfast was delicious, The staff were well-trained, polite and courteous and friendly. The place was clean and modern with an awesome veranda overlooking the ginormous pool. We loved the pool, lukewarm and clean and gorgeous. The beds were the best of this vacation. The food in the resraurant was great. Memorable stay in every way. We taxied into Sintra for a tuk-tuk tour, but the beach was its own reward. We'd love to come back. Most highly recommended. "

"We really enjoyed our stay at this charming and historic boutique hotel. The location inside old town was perfect for sightseeing and very quiet at night. The road is closed to most car traffic but access to buses, taxis, or Bolt rides are a short walk away. The room was spacious, decorated with antique pieces, and had an outdoor garden sitting area. Although the bathroom fixtures were a little tight in space, they were fine. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and the provided breakfast was lovely and a great start to the day. Definitely recommend!"

"Our stay at Rosegarden was easily one of the highlights of our entire trip across Portugal. The unique and colorful design aesthetic is what initially drew me in, and this did not disappoint in person. All the spaces were beautiful without being gaudy, and clearly much thought went into the style. Everything else was simply icing on the cake. Staff were kind and attentive, the breakfast complete, fresh, and delicious, the rooms exceptionally clean, superbly comfortable, and quiet. Just how quiet? During our time in Sintra there was an impressive two-day-long windstorm passing through. The noise outside was constant and significant. However, the windows in our room were so solid that it was essentially silent inside. We would open the windows to the roaring wind for a few moments for fresh air, then close them and it was as if we were sealed in a soundproof chamber. This and everything else contributed to some of the best sleep I think I've ever had on a vacation. We honestly did not want to leave. Thank you, Rosegarden, for being one of the most memorable accommodations we've ever had! I sincerely hope to return someday. Derek & JP. "
