"The house itself is great, a little rundown, and in desperate need of upgrades and maintenance (4 out of 6 lights were out in one of the bathrooms). The amenities list a pool or pool access at a neighboring property, it was simply just crossed out in the guide, and we had no pool access. The washer didn’t work, and noone communicated back with us on whether it got fixed after we brought it to their attention. The TV provider hadn’t been paid, so the TV didn’t work. "My boyfriend and I stayed for about a week in one of the penthouse suites and, frankly, we could not have asked for a better experience. The kitchen was pretty well stocked (with kitchen supplies, not food obviously), the bed was very comfortable, the front desk agents were really great and incredibly helpful (especially the woman with the glasses), the pool was really fun and great to swim in, the breakfast (which we had prepaid for) had plenty of options that varied a bit every day and 5hat were all very good and fresh, the shower was very nice, the washing machine worked well (although you do have to bring/buy your own detergent), the balcony was super practical and had a pretty great view (except for the big red building blocking a bit of it but that was fine tbh) and everything was very clean. Overall, we loved everything and would strongly recommend this institution to anyone thinking about visiting Punda or Curacao and i would recommend a room with a kitchen as restaurants can get a bit expensive. The only tiny complaint was that we asked for no housekeeping a few times as we did not need it and that information did not seem to reach the cleaning crew as we had housekeeping come to our room every day. Also, the bar has a happy hour from 5 to 6 every day but the rules are not very clear as some drinks are half off and some aren’t but there isn’t any indication on which are which. The piña coladas are amazing there tho so i would recommend getting one! Thank you Ritz!!"

"This room cost a lot of money. Let’s start there. For the amount of money that was paid for this room, I should have been able to use air. We were told that if we used the AC we would be charged an additional fee. It was hot as hell the entire time!! Literally dripping sweat after showering. Next the house was infested with cockroaches. My husband killed 5 cockroaches during our stay!!! I was terrified that something was going to crawl on me or in me while I was sleeping. We were also charged an additional fee to use adaptors so that we could charges our devices. After paying for the adapters they still did not produce enough voltage and stopped charging anything altogether. We had to use portable chargers for everything. There was also a golf cart that we could not use. So we had to walk 20 mins in the sweltering sun just to get to the beach on the resort. We ended up renting a car because no one wanted to pass out from a heatstroke. Mind you it was already hot as hell in the house. We paid way too much money to be inconvenienced the way we were. I will never ever come back to blue bay"

"Elegimos este hotel para celebrar con nuestra familia y amigos nuestro cumpleanos Lamentablemente en esta occasion no todo salio como yo esperaba, eramos un grupo de aproximadamente 35 personas Desafortunadamente la fiesta que organizamos para esa celebracion no era lo que habiamos acordado con la Sra Tamara Allen , hubo mucha falta de informacion y cambios a ultimo momento que no estaba previsto que fuera de esa manera. Definitivamente no volveria a organizar otro evento en este lugar o con la misma persona, aunque debo de decir que mis invitados a pesar de los inconvenientes pudieron tener una velada agradable ya que Tamara a pesar de los cambios de ultimo momento logro que este evento fuera posible (aunque no fue por lo que yo pague). Muchas de las personas que se alojaron en este hotel , tuvieron problemas de liqueo de agua en el cuarto por lo que los tuvieron que cambiar de habitacion,a otros se fue la luz en su cuarto, y a otros la habitacion que les habian asignado ya habian otras personas usando la habitacion. Personalmente mi habitacion no tuvo ningun problema ,era muy espaciosa ,me gusto muchos sus amenidades, y sus inmediaciones . En el restaurante las personas que nos atendieron fueron serviciales y amables. Por ser un grupo grande fue IMPOSIBLE hacer una reserva en sus restaurantes . En general el hotel es bonito, sus playas muy lindas pero tienen que hacer cambios , con mucha tristeza dire que NO fue lo que yo esperaba para esta occasion tan especial."

"We stayed at Lion’s Dive for 6 days and I have to say it was fabulous. The room was spacious and modern, the property was extremely clean. It wasn’t too congested and had just enough people for our liking. The ocean was breathtaking and so relaxing and the snorkeling was fun. We loved the staff at Piazza and at the Chill bar. We highly recommend this resort and will be back."

"Our second stay at this resort. We love the location, pool area and snorkeling off the beach. Love the improvements to salty iguana by adding the beachfront dining area. Things to improve would be providing more wash clothes in the room. It seems this is an ongoing issue with a shortage of wash clothes as it was the same last time. My wife takes a couple showers a day and uses a wash cloth in the shower and one to wash her face. When we requested some more wash clothes some days we would get extra and other days none."
