The staff were great and the beds were very comfortable. The room was lacking though. It was very tiny, maybe 175 sqf total including the bathroom and the bed. Also there was about an inch gap between the door and the floor. Outside the door was a common area and there were people hanging out there late into the night and it sounded like they were in the room with us which made it hard to sleep.

Where do I begin?! The Block well-exceeded our expectations, beginning with extremely friendly and attentive staff to exceptionally tidy and comfortable accommodations. We were thrilled to be able to prepare our own meals and enjoy them in a spacious and warm common area. It was a nice surprise to experience a full bar in the common area, making our evenings really enjoyable. There were other common areas tucked away where we played games - our own, and those the Block provided - in these cozy nooks. We really enjoyed the hot tub that featured beautiful views of Silverthorne. This was our first time, but it will definitely not be our last!

This place is so stinking cute! The larger rooms are like a tiny house and they have bunk beds and larger rooms for groups. This place would be perfect for a girl's/guys getaway or a romantic weekend. It's pet friendly, which was great for us. Water pressure is great. The kitchenette is well stocked with a Keurig, small fridge/freezer, dishes, etc The views are stunning and there is a hot tub on the top level with an overlook that shouldn't be missed!

I enjoy staying at the Block Hotel & Commons whenever I'm recreating in the Summit County or nearby. The dorms are very clean, comfortable, and affordable. The staff is very polite and courteous, and there are generally many events planned on their social calendar.

I had a micro room. Full bed, some shelves and clothes rack and towels. All clean and comfortable. This is a small room, and that is all I needed. Coed showers/restroom down the hall were clean and worked well. Perfect for what I needed. Bar and outdoor area were great. Would definitely stay again.

I was skeptical at first but on arrival I was definitely not disappointed.. the cleanliness was amazing because that was my most concern prior to booking. Also the room/property is very quiet and calm.. 10/10 recommend..

This was an excellent value for the $. Very contemporary and clean place. The room was quiet and very comfortable. Front desk staff were attentive and friendly. When I booked the room, I did not realize that this is a hostel with no private bathroom. But the mixed-gender bathroom was clean and had private showers and toilets. Never had to share the bathroom with other visitors during our stay. We would definitely stay here again.
