Came for 2 nights, stayed for 7! Paradise....

Fantastic hotel. Rooms are big and well appointed and very clean. The grounds are beautiful and the pool area simply wonderful. It is set back about 200m from the beach and a10min walk to Otres2. Don't let this put you off as there is a golf buggy shuttle at your disposal all day. You can even arrange pick up up to 10pm every night which is a good idea as the road is dark. The staff cannot do enough for you and are always smiling and helpful. The location is excellent as you realise how close, crowded and cramped the accommodation on the beach actually is. You will pay an awful lot more for dingy, small and probably quite noisy rooms on the beach. Highly recommended.

Don’t waste your money

The pool and the grounds of the hotel are nice but that’s about it. The rooms are very outdated and the inside feels more like a cheap motel. The staff are not helpful and very difficult to communicate with. The location is basically in the middle of a construction site. You can definitely find a better place for the money.

Property under new name (twin palms) was run down. We stayed three nights and never saw anyone eat at the restaurant. All of Sihanoukville was under construction (roads and buildings) creating noise till about 9pm. Very dirty town.some nice beach area at Otres 2. Little bit better than koh Rong ( no smell but Koh Rong was prettier but also full of young adults). Snorkelling tour sold by koh Rong dive shop had no fins, changed rental fee for mask (not informed when asked if gear was available) and consisted mostly of driving around. Very little snorkelling! Koh Rong Samloem was dirty at the main pier, had construction but did have lots of shells on the beach

There is no way this is a four star hotel. First impression is the heaps of smelly garbage bags piled up in front and the faded hotel sign with missing letters proved to be quite telling. A 2nd sign out front calls it the Twin Palms Hotel. I was sheepishly told it is now Twin Palms, is under new ownership and that website hasn't yet been updated. The room (except for floor) was mostly clean. Beds were fine and firm. Our AC unit worked until our last night. Salt water pool is long enough to do lengths. The area around it is poorly maintained and falling apart. The mattresses on the lounge chairs are split and the yellowing foam shows through. The areas that were probably flower beds in their time are now just places where garbage collects (the same beer bottle, discarded plastic containers were there the entire 3 nights). There are 2 restaurants, one by the pool and the other by reception. The one by reception only serves breakfast. There is an egg station. There are maybe one or two fruit options. Some white bread by a toaster. At the pool side restaurant, I never saw anyone eat food. The hotel is surrounded by roads that are unpaved with garbage everywhere. There is also lots of heavy construction next to the hotel and roads everywhere are dusty. The worst part is the lack of any pride in maintaining this property. Priced for a 4-star experience but not even close to meeting that standard. I’d be charitable if this were billed as a one star and priced accordingly.

The hotel need to make a big sign for it

Neben dem Zimmer war das Wirtschaftsgebäude mit schön viel Lärm morgens früh um 06:30, mittags und spät abends. Die Baddecke war nur zur Hälfte gestrichen; an der Wand darunter viele Farbkleckse. Safe funktionierte gar nicht. Erst nach zweimaliger Beschwerde wurde der Safe nach 2 Tagen ausgewechselt. Badarmaturen in der Dusche sind weggebrochen. Erstreparatur durch stümperhafte Wiederbefestigung mit Einklemmen eines Zahnstochers, was natürlich nicht hielt. Am 2. Tagerfolgte eine Befestigung mit Kupferdraht, was dann hielt. Der Brausekopf der Regenwalddusche konnte nicht benutzt werden, war wohl nur zum Schmücken da. Auf Nachfrage, ob man ein anderes Zimmer bekommen kann, hieß es, "wir geben morgen (morgen, nur nicht heute) Bescheid". Ich habe nichts mehr von der Tussi an der Rezeption gehört. Das Frühstück war bescheiden: 3 verschiedene Reisgerichte, 2 mal Nudeln. Samstags: keine Bohnen, keine Würstchen. Sonntags: keine Bohnen, keine Wassermelonen, keine Würstchen; trotz Beschilderung. Meistgehörter Satz: "No Sir".

Really Nice pool.

A bit far from the centre but hotel is Very Nice. Swimmimg pool is outstanding. Breakfast is not to my standard. Be carefull with the shower door Because our one broke. Glass everywhere. I had to go to the hospital for my injuries.

Quiet location because outside sihanoukville and the beach is Nice. Beautifull swimming pool. Staff are very Nice and food of hôtel restaurant is good. Coktail too.

Un bel hôtel trop éloigné

Très très bel hôtel mais vraiment trop éloigné de sihanoukville. En moyenne prévoir minimum 6$ en tuk tuk l'aller simple. Il faut vraiment trouver une solution dans le cadre du site hôtel.com pour pouvoir réserver 2 chambres l'une avec un lit double l'autre avec 2 lits.

Hotellet ligger litt avsides, men det er perfekt for de som ønsker å rusle på stranden. Midt i mellom otres1 og otres2 har man valg og fin mulighet til å gå til begge.

Great hotel

I'm very happy with our stay here. We had previously stated at another hotel on Victory Hill for 2 nights and it simple didn't compare to The Legacy Hotel, which has one of the best pools I've ever been to. The general vibe was chilled and I spent most of my time lounging by the poolside ordering food and drink! The beach is only a few minutes away and the hotel can shuttle you there but unless you can't walk, just take the the stroll! Food is not bad although gets smart after a few days. Fruit platter is good to refresh you. Plenty of restaurants in the area within walking distance. Only negative are the hard beds. Would highly recommend.

추천하지 않음. 시내와 떨어진 리조트형식이나 규모가 작고, 리조트안 편의시설이 없음. 단지 수영장옆의 미니바에서 음료 및 식사를할 수 있으나 개방형이라 밤에는 모기가 많고 쾌적하지가 않음. 특히 조식이 최악임. 단비 가족들과 리조트에서 수영만한다면 몰라도 조식이 형편없고, 기타 편의시설이 없어 불편 함.

Friendly staff with great swimming pool

Goood room with amazing pool area. Location was between otres 1 and otres2 so took a while to both beaches where are some action. Resort provides rental bicycle which help a lot with free of charge

Hotelli on mukava ja uudehko. Uima-allasalue on loistava. Aamiainen ei ollut mitenkään hyvä, mielummin kannattaa syödä hotellin uima-allasravintolalla. Hinnat hieman korkeat johtuen hotellin rauhallisesta sijainnista.

Schönes und dafür sehr preiswertes Hotel.

Einziges Manko: es liegt nicht am Strand und man muss immer ein TukTuk für den Strand heuern. Dafür ein toller Preis. Aber wir zahlen gern fast doppelt so viel, um direkt am Strand zu sein.

Das Hotel liegt am ruhigerem Ortres Strand.Riesen cooler Pool.Sehr nettes Personal. Wlan funktionierte nicht,obwohl angeboten.Probleme konnten nicht behoben werden. Auch in anderen Zimmern schlecht.Sehr sauber.Essen und Drinks waren lecker.

Great pool!

The rooms were nice, the air-conditioning was fantastic, and breakfast was great. Free bicycle rentals is a plus. Legacy's pool is wonderful! My only feed back is minor: when ordering from the dinner menu the kitchen was out of many items and food took over 45 minutes after ordering to arrive at the table. Waiting for food isn't a big problem when you're on holiday waiting by a beautiful pool. We enjoyed our experience.
