"The fire alarm went off at 2:30 am. Fire dept came within 10 minutes. Later that day we asked the hotel staff the reason for the fire alarm and no one knew anything about it! Other than that, the stay was ok and the breakfast was good."

"Unit was well-kept, clean, safe and easy to find with your favorite maps app. Location is excellent for walking to the grocery store, bars/restaurants and shops in Monrovia. We didn't hear any noise or even see other renters. Just as an FYI, if you decide to rent this place, there are at least 4 units on the property. We stayed in one of the units in the house itself. There is another unit with the same number in the back off the parking lot that is not this rental. It's a bit confusing if you arrive at night in the dark, but it's no biggie. The property is very quiet and I would definitely stay here again. The folks in the neighborhood were all friendly and I felt safe running alone in the early morning hours. We saw a coyote walking straight down the middle of the street which was pretty cool and there's parrots around, too! Also, although we looked all over for a chore list and checked and rechecked for a response to our email we never found or learned of a list of cleaning and maintenance tasks to complete prior to leaving. With so many of these rentals asking for a couple hours unpaid labor it was nice to just leave the place clean and organized but not getting up at dawn to wash, dry and remake beds or scrub grout prior to leaving.Lovely place!"

"One of the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us. It was the best treatment I have received and it was very thoughtful. I wishes I knew who it was that I spoke to but I talked to her on the phone and she knew I was coming out of town and wanted to go to Huntington Library and won’t be able to check in on time and the hotel allowed me to check in early to put our luggage in the room and go to Huntington library. I appreciate that so very much. When I came into the front desk, the man and the woman at the front desk were very friendly, accommodating, and thoughtful. The lady in the front desk who checked me in even showed me the building where my room was. Thank you for the wonderful welcome, service and fantastic accommodation. The room I got was super quiet, clean, roomy and modern with granite kitchen counter top. The bed could have been more comfortable but the bedding was clean and basic. The pillow was comfortable. The bed was bouncy. I will definitely be back."

"Horrible place. Will nvr stay at an extended stay. Lobby, hallways, and rooms had a stench, like a homeless person who hasn’t showered or rotting food smell. Our first room’s AC was broken making a really loud clicking noise. So asked to get moved to another room. That next room had a rotting food smell. Absolutely disgusting."
