"The property is amazing. There are opportunities to see tons of wildlife just from your room or just walking around the trail and even just on the way to the restaurant. The staff were extremely approachable, helpful, and went out of their way to make sure I was having a good time. I came for wildlife photography and many of the staff often pointed out different birds to me and even took me to their favorite spots on the property for wildlife viewing. The concierge service via WhatsApp was also super helpful in booking stuff to do and arranging transportation. Really awesome stay, I was extremely impressed."

"This property is situated at the end of a road near La Fortuna. Very little signage from the main road so getting there in the dark was kinda scary. Check in was fine and the rooms are spread out in bungalows throughout the lush landscape. This was in July and the rain was constant, especially at night. The room was dissapointing as it is just basic furnishings in an open room. Our waterfall shower had a frog in it. Bugs were present, but with all the moisture it should not be surprising. The TV is up on an adjacent wall and not viewable at all. The beds were very basic. No lamps, just sconces with bad LED lighting. No fridge which was a major miss. Very easy to get lost finding your room. The breakfast was great we did dine both nights at the restaurant but it was pricey. Just didn't want to venture out in the rain. The pool was small with a swim up bar. For some reason in CR they do not heat the hot tubs. We never saw the volcano as it was obscured by clouds both days."

"LOVE this hotel! We have stayed at 4 different properties in the La Fortuna area and this is now my favorite one! The rooms are beautiful, with front and back balconies, the bathroom was spacious, the staff was lovely, and the view from the restaurant cannot be beat. We will absolutely stay here again on our next trip to the area!"

"Breakfast goes from 6:40am-10:00am. great selection of food from rice, beans, chilaquiles, meats, plantains, fruit, cereals, there's even an omlette station and waffle station. Tea selections include black, green and herbal. Hot coffee and hot milk available as well. Juices usually were orange and some type of red (our guess was papaya). Filling because it is all you can eat. "

"Overall, we loved this resort. First night in bad room located right next to construction/maintenance area and was very noisy. Do not stay in room 37! Hotel Mgr was very accommodating and upgraded us to a nicer and quieter room. Grounds are beautiful, and great view of Arenal volcano. Thermal springs (at least the top 2 pools) were lovely. Nice outdoor pool patio casual restaurant. Big breakfast buffet, all food was very good. I’d definitely recommend a stay here! And don’t miss Mistico Park which is near by!"
