What a beautiful resort! We enjoyed there every single day. The staff is very helpful here. The breakfast buffet is small, but it was sufficient for us. The room was big and nice. The only inconvenience was that room had only 5-7 hangers for 3-4 people and 1 shelf to place your stuff. The big armour was useless. The location is good, 5-10 min with tuk-tuk to the Pub street, the tourist area of Siem Reap.

This place is simply beautiful. It's a couple kilometers from the city centre so it's fairly quiet, but still close enough to be convenient. The rooms are huge and either walk out to the pool or have balconies overlooking it. Service is excellent, and although we booked most of our own tours/transfers, the prices were exactly the same as offered by the hotel. Beautiful palms, gardens and water features, and bird song, dragon flies, butterflies, tree frogs and cute little lizards abound. Pool = 5⭐

Best for family and group gathering; the private pool was amazing; food selection is good; wifi strong in room and in public area; staff is very friendly and helpful; manager Chanda has excellent personal service in communicating with guests and coordinating tour suggestions and transportations; definitely will return here and will highly recommend to family and friends. Close to airport and within minutes to mall. Love the quietness and relaxing ambiance !

If it wasn’t for the pool…
Firstly, we’re not sure how this is a 4* hotel… We were originally put in one of the rooms next to the restaurant area and we were extremely disappointed upon arrival - it was on the 3rd floor and no staff offered to help us with bags. The room had no bedside lamps (despite photos online), there was no kettle but there were cups/teas/coffees (when we asked for a kettle they gave us with a broken one), there was no remote for the TV and there was also no towel rail in the bathroom - the room just felt unfinished! Late that evening we started to get a strong smell of smoke in our room which we realised was coming through the air conditioning (we later worked out it was from a house next door that had daily fires). The smell was making us feel ill - we switched the air con off but that just made us hot so we asked to move rooms. We called reception twice but the person on front desk didn’t know how to handle the request and just hung up both times. We went to speak to them in person which worked but he just offered a room 2 doors down which also smelt of smoke! Finally we moved to the other side of the hotel. Also the beds are VERY hard - not very comfy. The breakfast that was included is pretty basic with the same options every day. Overall the attention to detail and awareness of customer service lacks here - a shame as the hotel has a lot of potential in a nice setting. The pool area is stunning - but that was our only positive unfortunately!

Nice quiet resort away from th main town.
A nice quiet resort with a good pool. The rooms are big and comfortable with good a/c. The staff are very helpful. Special thanks to Chhan and Kai. The hotel will pick you up from the airport for free and can help organise bus tickets, and a driver for your visit to Angkor.

Nice quiet resort a little out of town.
The resort is clean and modern, with the rooms being open plan and having a spa feel with good aircon. My friend's room had an outdoor shower and bath. The pool is large and warm and relaxing. The resort is a little way out of the town but that means it is quiet, and the staff can always arrange the ten minute remork (tuktuk) ride into town for $2. There is usually a driver standing by. The staff were very helpful and the hotel picked me up from the airport and took to the bus station free of charge, and they also arranged bus tickets and the driver for our day at the Angkor Wat complex. Special thanks to Chhan and Kai for their help.

Pure excellence!
We had a perfect stay here and extended our visit by an extra day because we loved the hotel so much. Staff is beyond wonderful - everyone at the front desk is very helpful and professional. Rithy was awesome! The pool is very nice, rooms perfect, the breakfast (and staff in restaurant) were great. We booked our driver for tours both days and had a great experience. A truly lovely place in a lovely city and country. We will most certainly be back. Also, if you go, strongly recommend you tour Apopo and the small killing fields museum near by. Enjoy!

Quiet & a good place for relax. Have a big & clean swimming pool, the size of the hotel room is big. Not far from night market, pub street (by tuk tuk USD2 one way). Walking distance 3 minutes to Phare (cambodian circus) . Hotel staffs very helpful, they try their best to assist us on most of our request. One thing is remember to bring your multi-purpose plug to charge yr handphone as hotel didn't have extra to lend you to charge in your room.

Great hotel, location not great, pool great!
luxurious resort with great customer service, and friendly staff. Room is massive and pool is fantastic. However location is too far to walk to main restaurants etc as this hotel is on the edge of Siem Reap. It is across road from circus though. We got charged service charge (5% for everything) and we got charged a drink from mini bar which we didn’t have, when I contested they didn’t accept so I paid, but Im not satisfied they wouldn’t take my word. It was only one drink so we paid (with service charge?!). Gym is a token gesture, not much equipment, very unused. Otherwise staff really friendly and attentive and the room was very good.

We stayed at this resort for almost 2 weeks. We had a beautiful room which was cleaned daily and most importantly a very comfortable bed. The resort is well located with a short tuk tuk ride into pub street. The pool area is beautiful with plenty of lounge chairs. The daily breakfast was well catered for as was the pool side menu. We can highly recommend this resort, with its friendly and helpful staff, when choosing a place to stay in Siem Reap.

We spent 5 nights at the Tanei Angkor Resort and really enjoyed this hotel. Our room was on the ground level overlooking the pool. We had two queen size beds. The a/c was not too noisy and not too cold. The pool is gorgeous! After a hot day of visiting temples, it was wonderful to go for a swim. The restaurant of the hotel was excellent! We only ate out one night, the other nights we were happy to stay at the hotel. The hotel arranged for a tuktuk driver and a guide to take us to the temples. That is the way to do it. It is hard to arrange it yourselves. We were very happy with our tuktuk driver, Julian and our guide, Sophal. If you want to go to Pub Street, it is about 10 minutes by tuktuk and costs USD2.00, sometimes USD3.00. The hotel is about 20 minutes by tuktuk to the temples. So well-situated between the town and the temples. It was quiet. The only downside, which would be anywhere, are the mosquitoes. They are tiny-you cannot kill them. Our kids were covered in bites, even keeping the doors to our room closed. We loved the hotel and would go back.

Tanei Angkor Resort and Spa met all my expectations of a relaxing holiday and first class service. The manager Saradin Ly always greeted the guest and made sure everything was of high standard. The pool was excellent and i spent a lot of time relaxing by it and you can also have drinks and food delivered there. The rooms were spacious and included all the amenities you would expect. The resort also provides half day and full day tours to the temples which were excellent.

The amplitude of the rooms, very large windows excellent view to the gardens from our balcony, manager always willing to please and overall extremely friendly, if you like to be outside the noise this is the place to be.

I am sad to leave this place. I originally booked 2 nights but ended up staying for 4! They made my birthday very special. The pool is exquisite, and the service fantastic. Breakfast in bed was always yummy. Sadly i didnt have time to book a massage. They organise tours for you and order you taxis and tuk tuks. All staff are so friendly. Food and water is good if a little expensive, but 3$ will get you a tuk tuk into town anyway. It's near the circus and horse farm. The assistant manager - i forget his name - couldnt do enough for you. Great place. Also peaceful and quiet - perfect antidote to pub street!!!!!

It is a wonderful resort and fantastic swimming pool. It is comfortable room and nice with balcony and pool view. Good breakfast and other food. Very friendly staff with helpfull tour arrangement. I would like to recommend tanei angkor resort and spa for recent stay in Siem Reap.

Very pleasant stay, the property was good with spacious room with all amenities, good and clean swimming pool. The highlights of the resort are excellent friendly staffs (Mr.Channa Lao and his team (front desk, restaurant, housekeeping and driver). They made my trip more memorable. Thanks for everyone.

Given the price we paid, this was a great experience. The hotel is beautifully designed and decorated. The staff were charming and helpful. You cannot walk anywhere from the hotel because it is located off a busy road (no noise from this) but it is only $1.50 for a Grab tuktuk (opt for the remorque style as they are more robust) to take you to the centre. For going to the temples, the location is better than the town centre.
