The staffs on duty were attentive, friendly and hardworking, but the property was not properly staffed by management. For example, room service kitchen was not available for all 3 nights that we stayed there, given the location is far from the center of town, we had to go to next door property for dinner at one point.

Overpriced and Understaffed—stay elsewhere!
I get it, COVID. Hotels had to cut staff, scale back on amenities but lowered their prices & didn’t accept as many reservations, right? Not Hillocks.My friend recommended, she stayed over a year ago and paid $50/night. I paid $104/night and it was terrible. Cobwebs and mouse poop in my room, only 2 ppl cleaning for all 38 rooms & they were booked. For 2 days my room didn’t get cleaned until I showed them the photo of the mouse poop. I had to ask for more toilet paper every other day (I booked 7 nights, nonrefundable). Even when they would clean, they didn’t leave an extra roll. Breakfast was included & it had the potential to be great but again, only 2 people (that I saw) working it & 1 cook (running back & forth to refill food). Meaning, if you didn’t get there right at 6:30 am there was no coffee and no food and no clean plates and no clean tables. The staff couldn’t keep up. I got there at 6:50 this morning, the tables were still dirty from the morning before, no napkins & no coffee. Internet rarely worked. One night out of 7. I needed to change a plane ticket & book a hotel for another part of my trip. Got the spinning wheel of death even though all wifi bars were showing. I asked twice, they said “oh, must be slow.” Slow means it eventually loads the page. Not the case, I would get error msgs. saying “failed to load.” Had to go to a restaurant to change my flight & book things. Wished I could have left & gotten a refund!!!!! Maybe they’ll get it together in another year?

Action has been take and you are right during Covid time our operation has decided to minimize and run for for part to make guest a convenience finding accommodation and stay safe. Due to Covid-19 restriction and advice we can enter guest’s room to clean and change amenities upon requested only. Staff operation was really hard to recruit and select and during that time we need to Rin with what we have them with us plus our operation manager to support too. I believed our pricing really drop alot compare to situation before Covid-19. You might selected a high category on that. Some how, we have different room type and prices.Again, thanks for all your feed to improve and we have done on this, staffs were added more, breakfast add more choices, other outlet Spa, Gym, Pavillion Bar, Restaurant we’re open. We had a wonderful stay at Hillocks Hotel & Spa. It is a beautiful property with a very friendly, accommodating staff. We had a wonderful time exploring Angkor Wat and Siem Reap and the cherry on top was being able to come back to Hillocks to recharge. Highly recommend

Superb service
Great staff! Sadly our stay was cut short due to airline cancellation, but the staff made adjustments and we still managed to get in abbreviated tours we had arranged through the hotel. Chen our driver is highly recommended and took us on a wonderful excited m express tour that hit all the highlights. We stayed in for dinner to enjoy the pool and were treated like royalty. In fact, we're calling it our pre-honeymoon. We both would like to go back and stay longer.

I would say this isn't as good as it looks, it certainly isn't five star. The air conditioning in our room wasn't sufficient meaning the room was very hot. There are a lot of staff however they don't seem to do much, breakfast ok and they kept running out of things such as the local beer. Not a disaster, but not amazing

wonderful place to stay in Siam Reap
For my check-in I had a new guy, who was very friendly but still learning. To make up for it, my room was upgraded. This wasn’t necessary, and I found this action promising. From this point on, service was excellent and extensive. My touring and travels were effortlessly handled by the team. We conversed via FB Messenger prior to arrival, and all changes/additions that occurred after my arrival were seamless. The banana shake is excellent! The 90 minute aromatherapy massage was exceptional. The pool is gorgeous. The food and drink available in the surrounding area is very good at all hours

Wonderful service, friendly staff, excellent breakfast. They held a gala dinner, too- for Christmas Eve and it was a lovely spread with roasted meats and desserts, etc. High recommendation, would definitely come back

We booked a Jacuzzi suite room for one night. First check in they offer us a free welcome drink and a wet towel which We love. But when they brought us to our room, the room was so hot without AC prepared and hot during the whole night we sleep, and when we look at the Jacuzzi outdoor , it all dirty and there were some little ants over it. There is a reason why We choose to book this room and hope the hotel well prepared the Jacuzzi full with water for ready to relax during my stay. They also offer a free welcome spa massage for 30 minutes, unfortunately there is only one spa lady on side and it very hard for us to schedule within our flexible schedule, at the end we weren’t able to have this service either. Very disappointed!!!

this hotel has a family feeling, especially the staffer member there, they are very nice, positively ask what you need, they even give us a free shower when we leaving at the late night. It was a nice hotel. Actually it’s more like a small resort rather than typical hotel. All the hotels nearby are the same. Not high rise buildings. Breakfast is good enough and swimming pool and spa are also nice although they look nicer in photos. One down side would be location. It’s not that far from downtown area but not easy to walks in 15-20 mins on dirt road so you need to ride tuk tuk which costs about $3 one way. The hotel area is quite dark at night so you don’t want to walk back from downtown. For Solo, better stays near downtown area so that you can simply walk around for food and shopping at night.

Our room was downstairs, even though we paid for a balcony, but we liked that location because it stayed cooler and was private, with a view of some greenery outside. The hotel was reasonably attractive, but the location was rather inconvenient. It was on the opposite side of town from the airport and all the temples.

The Hillocks Hotel was very comfortable. Airport collection, and check in was efficient. The room was spacious with an outdoor seating area overlooking the lovely gardens. It is situated in a quiet area of town so it was peaceful to sit around the pool area.

Nice quiet place to stay.
Good place to stay. Close by to city centre but a bit far to walk - about 2 kms. With tuk tuk it’s not bad at all - $2 will get you to city centre. Nice pool and staff is very helpful. Would recommend this place. Quiet and clean rooms. Laundry a bit pricey and coin laundering is far.

5-star stay with amazing staff!
This property was centrally located and gorgeous — stunning infitiny pool, luxurious spa, restaurant and gym all loved on the grounds. The true differentiator was the incredible staff. My friends trip became a solo trip last-minute due to a family emergency and they were so accommodating in making sure I had a great time on my own. They were helpful with recommending and organizing airport transfers, local transportation via car/tuktuk, local attraction tours, and more. They were also all very friendly and warm. 5-star stay and I’d definitely return for another visit!

It is a concept property. If you want a jungle/ garden feel, this place is for you. It has a nice pool area, an outdoor bar, a lounge bar, and a chic restaurant. We had a terrace room with a nice patio, massive dressing room/ washroom area, and a spacious room. Everything spot clean and we'll catered to. Staff - Chenda and Terry exceptional. The morning staff members also fantastic (never asked their names, sorry). Possibly the best staff a hotel could have asked. Never been this impressed with an entire staff's polished and friendly service. Kudos to you. Restaurant - food quality is very good. I would say the morning buffet could use more variety though. Also, very good pinacoladas 😁 A 5 min TukTuk ride from Pub Street, it has a calm vibe to it. Small hotels have this perk. Good location I would say since you wouldn't want to be in a location near traffic and chaos.

This resort is as good as the room you get!
Let me begin with why I booked this resort. All the reviews on various websites quoted this to be a five star resort and mentioned good reviews. So I booked, because i wasn’t looking for an ultra luxurious resort as the objective was to plan temple tours including grand circuit tour which would have hardly given me anytime to spend in the resort. Firstly, this is NOT a five star resort. I have stayed in five star resorts across all major countries and I can assure it is not a five star hotel. So, please book basis that in mind. I landed from Phu Quoc in the evening and went to hillocks with the expectation of a decent room, if not luxurious. We were given a basement room, which is how the hotel built is, don’t know why they call it first floor even though it is below ground level. Room was horrific. It had a spider in fridge, tadpole near wash basin, house lizards in washroom. I got the hotel staff to take note and told I will check out even though I had prepaid. They changed the room to one on the upper floor and now it seemed a diff hotel. Room was spectacularly clean and comfortable. It seemed like a perfect 4 star hotel room and very clean which is my primary requirement. Breakfast is very normal - not much of a choice. Pool and spa are good. Tuk tuk always available for night market. Basically this resort is as good as the room you are allotted. There are many many better hotels in Siam reap in better locations at few dollars more per night.

Great hotel , however had a problem with some guests spitting in public pool area which is very offensive behaviour to other Guests . Management was very proactive in stopping this behaviour for future guests.

Superb Villa Suite @ Hillocks Hotel & Spa love the whole experienced! a very attractive hotel, the grounds are amazing and beautifully kept. very quiet and peaceful. huge swimming pool. me and my mom could not have been happier at this hotel. our room was extremely clean and well fitted out. complimentary bottled water every day. the bed very comfortable. breakfast had just about everything to cater to all tastes and cultures. It's easy to get a tuk-tuk into the town and nearby restaurants too. the staff were excellent, went out of their way to make sure we had a memorable stay. ​the staff is very nice and well trained. we got everything we needed right away. Special Thank you to Nich, Domra, Theary, Tokla, Tey, Nith, Tay, Ly Hour, Sorm, Chhey and to our excellent Driver Mr. Len. overall very satisfied with memorable 50th Birthday trip. fully recommended this Superb Villa Suite @ Hillocks Hotel & Spa - one of the best hotels we stayed during our travels in Siem Reap.

Lovely hotel, very welcoming
Me and my friend stayed here for 4 nights and we were not disappointed. The room was lovely, spacious and very clean! Location is great as it was just a short Tuk Tuk ride into the city centre (the hotel offers a free ride 6-9pm, otherwise it’s around $2 each way). The hotel offers excursions to the temples / waterfalls and more, which we found helpful. It was around $100 for a guided tour around the Ankgor temples. $85 for a car to take you to the waterfalls (with an option for a tour guide for around $60). You get 30 min back massage free with your stay which was great! I even treated myself to a relaxing facial and 60 min massage - which worked out to be $24 each, so cheap. They offer a mix of Cambodian and western food which was good, if not there are so many places to grab food from in the city and a meal with a drink is around $10, again good value! All of the staff are so friendly at the hotel, very helpful and made our stay very pleasant. Thank you!!!

Great hospitality from the staff. However, the room wasn't really comfortable. The AC was too weak for such a big room. The room is too hot even when we turned on both the AC and the fan. Flies and ants in the room. Was expecting more from a 5-star hotel.

AMAZING!
Amazing! Deserves 10 stars. The staff is incredible. They called dozens of people trying to find me a tour guide on a holiday weekend. They convinced one of the tour guides to take me around and he was excellent! Staff picked me up from the airport on their day off. Room is extremely clean and extremely comfortable. Definitely felt at home. Food was amazing especially the banana bread. The only weird thing was the masseuse talking on her phone during the massage. I highly recommend this hotel! Wonderful stay !!

This is a pretty nice hotel for the money. The pool area could really use some upkeep, the hotel food isn’t so great and also the internet was often not working. This was a hugproblem for me.. Overall staff was very sweet and the room was spacious and clean

Nice Hotel. but bad experience on pick up services
We booked the hotel pick up service for arrival and departure, but unlucky when we arrived Siem Reap Airport, we can't meet any driver from the hotel and I tried call to hotel for a few times, only 1 times got staff picked up and asked us to hold on but then the line was off. After that we using the hotel online chat, so we can contact the hotel staff and ask for the pick up. At that moment, it seem your hotel was missed my booking and didn't send any driver for pick up. Then you hotel staff said the driver will come soon, ask me to wait around 15mins, the driver will show a A4 paper with my name under the hotel name. Then we waited at least for 45mins and a staff came picked us up with a A4 paper only with my name, without your hotel name, it seem that your hotel was totally missed my booking, and when the driver, oh sorry, it wasn't a driver, it is your hotel AM Mike, i cant believe that as a professional hotel offer a pick up service to customer and finally missed the booking order and need a AM come to be a driver, what do you expect customer thinking on your service. We are really appreciate Mike provide us a good service but on the other side, we feel pity for him that he had to busy as a superman in the hotel no matter is day time or night time when we met him. We hope that your hotel can be more professional on customer service, especially the pick up service.
