The room was amazing and the staff are super knowledgeable and friendly! We would stay here again! We were able to see all of the animals on our first game drive and that made the trip! Thank you again for making our vacation so memorable!
Amazing weekend, staff go out of their way to ensure you are happy and they will try their upmost best to ensure you get game sightings during the stay.
food is amazing, benefit if you are Muslim it is 100% halal
accommodation is very luxurious and comfortable.
Definitely a 5 star experience.
Brilliant game drive plenty to see - the rooms were fabulous backing onto the lion park! Enjoyed the game drive slight mix up with the early morning drive so that was annoying - but overall saw most of the animals.

Fawlty Towers in Africa including wildebeest !!
Two sides to this place The game reserve and rangers Superb and all you could wish for really excellent.
The Hotel We knew the hotel was Islamic and so alcohol free and had therefore expected and excellent choice of fruit based drinks . Still water and appletiser were all that was offered we requested fizzy water Not stocked I asked for a cheese omelette at breakfast no cheese available ,same next morning third morning a small amount of grated cheese had been found I wished I had given it a miss
No Menus at meal times because you get what you are given it was O K but all meat based None of the staff had identification badges so you never knew who to ask for what
The infrastructure of this place is creaking loose stair carpet on main stairs broken tiles and so on it needs updating with a proper maintanance plan
We had stayed at the Wistin in Dubai On the way out The owner of Kwantu needs to send his management team to stay in a 5 star hotel in Cape town for a couple of days so they can see what a real 5 star hotel offers and how to do it properly. Basil would be proud of this place his dream lives on
We stayed at the hotel/Pollards Inn. It is a beautiful place but maybe we will try the Lodges next time as they are actually inside the game area, although they are VERY quiet. This could be made clearer in the bookings. So if you want a bit more activity then stay at the Inn. But if you want less activity and more direct viewing of animals then stay in the Lodges. Both are beautifully decorated, luxurious, and clean. The animal experience was unforgettable. There were excellent and well organized activities such as game drives, predator rehabilitation center, and elephant sanctuary with very knowledgeable and personable guides. The most significant drawback was that the WiFi/Internet access was very poor and should be upgraded. Guests should also be forewarned to keep their sliding doors to the balconies closed to keep the Vervet Monkeys out of the rooms. We did not have any issue but know of several guests who did leave the doors open and had their rooms messed up by the monkeys looking for food/sugar packets. Food was plentiful and great tasting but maybe not the highest quality- average overall, though the seafood curries were outstanding. Also maybe make clearer in the bookings that no alcohol (wine/beer) is served or available since the place is owned by and caters to the Muslim population. It wasn't a problem really but was unexpected. Great experience overall.
Mijn eerdere beoordeling is afgewezen.
