"The hotel has tons of potential but is disappointing. The setting is amazing. The landscaping is beautiful but everything else was subpar. The breakfast is cereal, cold muffins and yogurt. Cleaning staff is friendly but hotel staff is no where to be found. Checkin and checkout is done with cleaning staff. Room could use some upkeep and maintenance. For the very high price they charge no worth it at all."

"The property was beautiful, clean and staff were quite helpful and friendly. The breakfast was wonderful! Delicious smoked salmon, fresh fruit, yogurt and lots of great choices of baked goods. The chocolate croissant - delish! Close proximity to town, lovely garden setting with a nice veranda, and seating areas outside. TONS of great restaurants in walking distance from casual to more upscale. Brant point lighthouse nearby, tons of lovely shops at the wharf. Loved the hotel, loved Nantucket and will definitely be back!!!! ❤️❤️❤️ Would not recommend the Chapman house upper floors for elderly as the steps are narrow, steep and hard to navigate, but what a beautiful historic building!!"

Rustic, sunny cottage w/ deck & W/D - walk to the beach & town!

"Rustic is the right word. The location is great. When we arrived, all the deck furniture was pushed against the railing from the storm we got last weekend so you knew no one had been there in at least a week.a wire from the house to a utility pole was down and was dropped across the deck. I think it was the old telephone wire. Deck and porch furniture was covered in bird poop, so we cleaned it. We also found a set mice/rat trap under the sink. Little dangerous. A lot of the bushes need to be trimmed back, a bit overgrown. Messaged the owner to ask if we could check in early and never heard from them. We only stayed 2 nights for a wedding thank god. Beds were comfy.We will not be staying here again."

"The whole property was well maintained. Continental breakfast was good but would have been nice if food options changed more frequently. We had the same meal for 4 days in a row. Rooms were a little tight but I great shape. Towels and linens were excellent quality. The location of the hotel was fantastic. Sure walk to all places. Staff pleasant and very helpful with ideas on things to do. Great stay overall."

"I do not recommend this place we arrived and they said that the breakfast did not start till June 15 so it was just a continental breakfast. Our room was dirty bugs in the bathroom got woken up on our last day when they said we could check out at 12 housekeeping banging on the door would not stay here again do not recommend overpriced for what you get."
