"Property was fine but will use this space to comment on Expedia insurance policy. Be aware that if you purchase stay protection insurance it only works in extreme circumstances. I purchased insurance on a previous stay and rejected property couple days before checking in because I found it to be mediocre and in a poor location. This is not enough and money was lost. So insurance coverage by AIG is quite limited. But it’s a cash cow for these 2 corporations so it’s pushed aggressively. "

"The housekeeping staff was amazing. Very helpful and cheerful. Check-in went well. I was told the hotel did not have an iron which was a bit inconvenient. The renovated hotel is done nicely. Compact and functional. Loved the location although it was a bit far from the train but inexpensive taxis and ride shares are easily accessible. "

"My stay at the Grand Mayfull Hotel was fantastic. Apart from the not-so-great location, everything else was perfect. Getting around was not challenging, as there are two train stations within a 15-minute walk, and at least one bus station within a 5-minute walk. The breakfast was also great. Overall, I would definitely stay again."

"Now catering for my unique dietary requirements is always painful for most accommodation, I don’t eat garlic, shallots, chives and asafoetida. Surprisingly, the breakfast buffet provided by Mellow Fields had too many suitable options to pick from. For this reason alone, I will stay with it again. The facilities were pretty aged and room layout was not the best in the industry, particularly if you were expecting an Instagram-friendly place. But I slept well while at Mellow Fields and I was a light sleeper, this aspect beat many other places of similar pricing."
