The Nook is ideally situated in the very heart of this historic and delightful Tudor town in a quiet and secluded position. It is a characterful one bedroom house laid out across three floors. It has all the amenities you would expect for a comfortable stay. The bedroom, bathroom and roof terrace are accessed via a spiral staircase. The well equipped kitchen and comfortable sitting room are on the ground floor. There is fast WiFi connection and Netflix is available. The designated parking space is directly outside the property. Shrewsbury is famed for it's charming old buildings, cobbled walkways and 'shutts'. There are numerous restaurants and only two towns in England have more pubs/capita ! The Nook is a short walk from the theatre, castle, museum, river walks and the quarry park. There is always something to see and do in this lovely old town.

What a lovely little place The Nook is, with its own parking space in the heart of pretty Shrewsbury. It is clean, cosy and warm with a comfortable bed, and even a few provisions had been left for us on arrival. There are many old churches, the abbey, the river, and park. Shops are plentiful, as are the pubs, bars, cafes and restaurants. We found everyone very friendly, and Andrew was extremely helpful and responded to messages quickly. If we return to Shrewsbury we will certainly stay in The Nook again.

The Nook is a lovely little cosy and comfortable property well located in the centre of town. Tastefully decorated with all the essential amenities and lots of thoughtful touches and extras provided by the hosts! We were welcomed to The Nook by freshly baked brownies and fresh flowers on the dining table. It’s the perfect little place for a couple to stay and explore Shrewsbury!

This was a real gem of a find. Centrally located with its own secure parking space. The property is well furnished with a fully equipped kitchen. It has its own small terrace too - ideal for drinking coffee or a glass of wine. The hosts are welcoming and provide great information about the area and what to do. Close to shops and restaurants but quiet with a lovely church just across the road. I would highly recommend it if you want to be within walking distance of what Shrewsbury has to offer in comfortable and charming surroundings arranged over three floors then this is for you.
The Nook is a lovely place located in a perfect position to explore Shrewsbury and the surrounding area. The quality of the furnishings and particularly the bed are very good. We enjoyed our stay and would certainly consider a further visit in the future. The only reason for four stars rather than five is due to the narrow spiral staircase which is quite steep. We could manage it but for some people it would be a real challenge.
From walking in the front door, we absolutely loved this quaint property. The high standard of decor and the tasteful furnishings complemented the property throughout. We also loved the extra touches....Chocolate brownies and bowls of sweets! There was everything we needed in the well equipped kitchen, and toiletries in the bathroon were provided. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Nook, and would not hestitate to return here on our travels. We both gave the property 11 out of ten!
Lovely town centre property very close to the shops. Very good use made of a compact property, had everything we needed and very well equipped. Roof terrace was vey nice and we managed to sit out for a little while before a thunderstorm drove us back in. The only downside for us was the spiral staircase which was quite narrow so we had to come down sideways and we both have joint problems so we found that difficult. Car park space good. Had a great time.
What a delight it was staying at The Nook! - perfect location, very homely, very clean and great to have the outside space - lovely having coffee on the terrace in a morning - also the added bonus of secure parking on the doorstep. There is everything you need in this beautiful property for a comfortable stay in Shrewsbury - also supplied tea, coffee, sugar, milk, butter and some rather delicious brownies! 😋 Now mastered the art of climbing a spiral staircase too! Would certainly return! Andrew is a great host - thank you!
We had a fantastic stay! There is everything you need in this property and the host was very attentive! Only thing to be aware of of is that there are two spiral staircases to climb before you can go to bed.
