Top Shrewsbury Hotel Reviews
The Lion Hotel Shrewsbury
8/10 Good
"As other reviewers have said, older property in need of tlc but meanwhile was in a super town centre location which was surprisingly unnoisy on a Saturday night/Sunday morning, felt homely, kept clean, staff super helpful with useful no charge bag storage on departure day. Didn't miss restaurant in hotel as surrounded by a, huge choice of eateries. I would recommend to like-minded, friends. But you would be disappointed if you were after luxury!"
Cromwell's Tap House
8/10 Good
"Nice room, decent size, very comfy bed. Staff very helpful, pub cosy with good selection of beers and very central. We would definitely return."
Abbots Mead Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Ideal location for exploring city centre. Friendly welcome on arrival with parking onsite. Very comfortable bed and en-suite bathroom spotless. Freshly cooked breakfast to order was excellent. Great value for money, would happily stay again when visiting Shrewsbury."
Lion and Pheasant Hotel
8/10 Good
"Great breakfast, nice room, good bed, good bar, car park a bit tight but there's an NCP opposite."
Yak & Yeti Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Lovely last minute booking, great location and staff were lovely. Didn't eat dinner but breakfast was lovely and fresh."
The Alb
10/10 Excellent
"The staff went out of their way to provide me with a breakfast in the morning as I was unable to make the time due to catching an early train."
Unique Shrewsbury Rooms
10/10 Excellent
"Great location for a place to stay in Shrewsbury. Abbey Foregte is close enough to the town centre for walking in, but quiet enough for staying. Parking was plentiful at the weekend. Room had everything you needed - plenty of tea & coffee, as well as corkscrew and wine glasses 😉. Would recommend staying here."
The Bull Inn
8/10 Good
"Very friendly staff, easy to check in and location was brilliant. Very reasonable price. The shower did leak into the bar area below and the bathroom shower curtain was dirty and could do with replacing"
Darwin's Townhouse
10/10 Excellent
"Great location. Comfortable and clean room."
