Tiny Akira

Summary:
Removed from the pressures of modern, fast-paced living, Tiny Akira offers a cosy escape with an awe-inspiring backdrop.

Located near Oberon and close to the splendors of the Blue Mountains, Tiny Akira inspires a sense of stillness achieved by disconnecting from modern life.

Settle into your corner queen bed as the sun pours in, breathe in the crisp, clean air of country-living or roast marshmallows under the stars with our fully equipped fire pit. Tiny Akira encourages you to unwind, rewild and relish a moment of a life lived slower.

Inspired by the Japanese Manga series by the same name, Tiny Akira embodies an unwavering will and sense of adventure.

The Space:
Tiny Akira sleeps up to four with a queen bed in the window and a double bed in the loft. There is also a reverse-cycle air-conditioner and heating unit.

The Neighborhood:
Tiny Akira is a three-hour drive west of Sydney.

Located 25km from Oberon, near the fourth highest point in the Central Tablelands. Mostly uninterrupted, the escarpment is a mixture of native Australian bushland, farmland and pine plantations. Tiny Akira is nestled near a working farm, so you might be lucky enough to meet a few sheep and baby goats during your stay.

Please note, to keep our houses hidden the location shown on the map is not accurate and should be used as a rough guide. The exact location will be revealed three days before your stay.

Getting Around:
While Tiny Akira is a peaceful spot that feels a million miles away from it all, there is a private road close to the house. If you are looking for complete seclusion, we recommend checking out Tiny Akira’s neighbour, Tiny Daisy.

Other Things to Note:
Mobile reception: There is limited mobile reception at this location.

Pet policy: Tiny Akira has a strict no pets policy - sorry! Please take a look at our other pet-friendly tiny houses in NSW.

  • Kanangra Boyd National Park is stunning! Not too far from the famous Jenolan Caves and the sweet little town of Oberon. The drive in is on an unmade road, but fine for 2 wheel drive cars too. We camped, for free, and thorough ally enjoyed hikes out to the plateau and spectacular views.

Great for short stays in nature

Beautiful and extremely quiet spot that our family enjoyed for a few days. Tint Akira has everything you need. Only negative point is that you have to take your rubbish with you with no dump bin at the end of the property. It is not the best after 3 nights with a family of four and a full car!
