"When we arrived at the house, we unpacked and within a few minutes, we smelled something that smelled like sewer gas in the bathroom. The owners came over and accused us of pouring something down the drain to get out of paying them. We could not stay in the house it smelled so bad and they would not refund our money. "We had a perfect stay in this sparkling clean and well- appointed country getaway. The layout of the home worked well for 3 adults working remotely, with plenty of privacy and different spaces in which to work or relax. The spacious and well-equipped kitchen was great for meal preparation and the yard with a firepit and deck with table and chairs was so conducive to outdoor time. The property is tucked away and very spacious and private. "

"I was truly impressed by how clean everything was. The amenities were good quality, and the overall experience was far more comfortable than I would ever expect from a hotel in this price range. I felt the care and dedication of the owner and staff. Thank you for making my stay so comfortable. I would be happy to stay here again."

"Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but it came close to being a disaster for us. Before we stayed our first night we came close to asking to cancel our reservation. This issue is that the Beekman Arms has multiple properties so one needs to be careful when booking a room. The photos do not indicate whether the room is at the historical inn or at one of the neighboring properties close to the inn. When we checked in they directed us to a property that looked like 1980's apartments - though spacious - did not in any way have the same appeal as the main inn. This is the the Courtyard King Sofabed room and no where is there a description stating that the room is at a property a full block from the main inn. Thankfully, the staff re-booked us in a room at the inn at no extra charge. Once we were in one of the rooms at the Beekman Arms, our stay began to meet our expectations. The breakfast is a short walk from the inn and has a few good options, the staff are friendly, the bar and restaurant a bit dark but gives one a good perspective of the inn's long history, and the location makes it easy to walk around the small town. Would I book again? Possibly, but would stay for two not three nights."

"We were a group of friends spread over a few rooms - our main purpose was to catch up, hang out together and let our kids play together. We did that and more at the cute little pool, the big yard with badminton set up! Everyone was super nice, accommodating and friendly! Highly recommended little motel. Walking distance to the Main Street for lunch, pizza take out, icecream etc!"

"I booked this vacation on Expedia and on arrival check-in was quick and smooth. Everyone was very helpful. I liked the casual decor of the place and our interactions with the staff, along with their professionalism,. The airstreams are a perfectly sized and clean with all the appropriate memories as advertised. Suggestions I would make are ice machines. It was over 100 degrees both nights I was there. My second suggestion would be a plugin induction cooker either built in or rentable for a meal prep. It was pouring rain both nights I was there so cooking outside had to be abandoned. And by the way people it’s dog friendly -amazing!"
