• One container of liquid hand sanitizer is now permitted in your carry-on baggage. It must not be larger than 12 oz (350 ml), and you'll have to take it out of your bag for X-ray screening.
• To reduce handling during the screening process, put items such as your keys, wallet, phone and belt into your carry-on instead of into the bins.
• If you're bringing food on board, place it in a clear plastic bag and then into a scanning bin. This lessens the likelihood that a TSA officer will need to handle your food container or carry-on bag for inspection.
