"This place is the ultimate place in san Pedro for a solid relax and rest vacation. I found sand and sky on Expedia after looking for a peaceful location outside of town. It consists of just 6 caisitas on the beach and because of that, the quality and hospitality is truly next level. The room itself is not only visually stunning on the outside but it's cozy on the inside. A comfortable bed, beautiful sun lit shower, and it's extremely clean !!! The owner Ronna went above and beyond when it came to all of the details. We had a pot of coffee every morning along with freshly baked pastries ( she's talented ) and fruit. It's just enough to get you ready to start your day. She went above and beyond with all of the details ( makeup towels, Turkish towels for the beach, golf cart waiting for us at the resort , recommendations for the best restaurants for local delicious food ) She's also saved my birthday celebration after I almost made a very silly mistake. The goal for the day was to snorkel and see a sea turtle. She made a quick phone call and we were able to get into a company ( and yes I saw the sea turtle 🐢❤️) Watching the stars at night while in bed and waking up gently to the sun each morning was the cherry on top. I'm back home and feel regulated and rested. Thank you Ronna for your hospitality ( from your fellow Canadian)"

"The complementary breakfast was cooked to order with a lot of great options - and the fresh fruit was delicious. We didn't realize before we arrived that each casita is privately owned and rented out, but it didn't really impact our stay. 9a is lovely and private. The staff were all friendly and helpful."

"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly helpful, friendly, and welcoming, which made our experience even more enjoyable. Our room was clean, organized, and comfortable. A special highlight was Zeus, the hotel’s cute, loving, and friendly dog! He was such a sweet addition and made our stay even more memorable. Overall, a lovely place to stay, and we would happily come back!"

"Loved having everything in the room & on the property. From bottle opener & to delicious well prepared meals onsite. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean & well equipped. The hotel is about 45 minutes away from downtown via golf cart but I planned accordingly and enjoyed onsite and nearby amenities. Front desk main staffer. I cannot remember his name but he guided and helped on every topic, even prior to arrival! He was the best & I’m sorry I cannot remember his name. He made our stay phenomenal."

"the resort was beautiful. loved the pool the kitchen was very nice .very clean. Eiden was very nice and helpful...activity director Karen was awsome and very helpful . making sure all our activities were set up. due to mother nature the beach was not available but there were other beaches near by. karen booked us a tour to check out the Mayan ruins and cave tubing with lunch included. we had an awsome time.....Eddy and Mike {tour guides} were really cool and made sure everyone was comfortable and was having a great time ,they also were very knowledgeable"
