About this property

Cozy 2-bedroom cabin at the entrance of Beaver Dam State Park.

  • Located a few miles outside Carlinville, at Beaver Dam State Park. This lovely cabin offers a welcoming retreat for guests seeking comfort and charm. Inside, you’ll find two cozy bedrooms featuring a queen bed, three twin beds perfect for families or small groups.

    Both bedrooms and bathroom are located on the upper level of the cabin, which is up four stairs from the living space. There is a hand rail so please take that into consideration when booking.

    Our property is located on 45 acres with many trails for hiking, two ponds for fishing and lots of forest for bird watching. We also offer hunting in season (you are responsible for your license and tags). If you are interested in any of these let us know when you book.

    Beaver Dam is a one minute drive or a few minute walk away. It features hunting (in season), fishing, hiking, boating and paddle boating. Carlinville, the county seat, has craft fairs in the summer, spring and fall festivals and enjoys accommodating the many vacationers who are traveling the historic Route 66.

    Whether you’re relaxing indoors or exploring nearby, this cabin provides a peaceful spot to unwind. Come and enjoy all that our community has to offer.
