"Very friendly staff, helpful, near restaurants, and a beautiful view of the castle. Worth the stay, only wish I could’ve stayed more time in the area"

"Very underrated hotel, had the best TV in my entire trip. Location can’t be beaten as it’s very close to the station. Definitely consider this if you’re going to Hiroshima."

"When is a resort not a resort? In this case, when it doesn't provide any facilities outside the room. There's a rooftop bar in summer but nothing at other times. Staff were pleasant but breakfast was limited and when we asked for a second cup of coffee we had to pay for it. The room is large but was taken up by 4 double futons and a massive hanging screen for projecting TV/video. We felt it was intended for a large group who wanted to watch DVDs all day. The cost would have been fine split 8...

"We love the Green Hill Hotel in Onomichi. It is close to the main Arcade and dining options are numerous. We always went to the Cycle Hotel for breakfast, where you can get great pastries, coffee, and hot chocolate. The best okonomiyaki we ever had was in Onomichi at Cafe Murata, located a couple of arcades away. It's easy to take a cable car up the mountain and see the Onomichi City Museum of Art. The working harbor makes it worthwile to order a room on the harbor side. "
"Charming hillside hotel with fantastic views. The room was spacious, clean, modernised with the exception of the bathroom which is still more of a traditional, dated Japanese bathroom, however, it was still very clean and of course functioning well. The Japanese breakfast in the morning was very lovely, accompanied by great views again. The lobby has a cafe where they do great latte art. There’s also a letter room where you can print photos and send letter which was a nice touch. Overall I really enjoyed my stay. One note of caution, this really is a hillside hotel, we initially planned to walk because google map says it was 16 minutes but it would be quite a trek up hill with very narrow paths so driving / taxi would be the way to go and there’s a taxi rank at the station which would be about a 10 mins journey and <1500 yen. "
"Very organized. Super neat style and unique qualities to it. The onsen/spa was about a 2min walk away, but they were prepared to let you borrow their tote bag and yukata sweater, and sandals. They provided socks, razor, toothbrush with toothpaste, etc. You can borrow a pitcher and fill it with water at your convenience at their side entrance for hotel guest.
Breakfast was provided for free, not a plentiful variety or sum, but enough to get you satisfied, as well as a free drink.
Very good coffee served. Strong but easy on the taste buds.
The onsen/spa made my day each time. Was very exhausted at the end of my excursions, so it really helped get me relaxed. 😌
Super grateful to the workers, very patient and spoke enough English to carry a simple conversation. Otherwise, I used Google translate to communicate if I couldn’t say it the way I needed to.
Would definitely return and recommend to anybody else visiting Fukuyama. "

"Room is clean and new. Love the view with Shinkanen and part of the castle. Friendly and helpful staff. Close the station. The only downside is the relatively old design of the lobby"
