Staffs are all awesome.

The place was spacious and clean, perfect for six people. There were so many great places to eat nearby. It was also nice that Namba Station was just a 10-minute walk away. Having both a washing machine and a dryer was a huge plus!

From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and well cared for. The hotel interior is beautifully designed—elegant and luxurious, with a warm ambiance that instantly puts you at ease. The room, while compact (as is common in Japan), was thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed: comfy bed and pillows, a humidifier, coffee machine, kettle, and even pajamas and a full set of toiletries. Bath towels were replaced daily, and the housekeeping team kept the room spotless throughout our stay. You can also request an iron and ironing board if needed, which was a nice touch. One of the highlights was the surprise cheesecake they provided to celebrate my husband's birthday—such a thoughtful gesture that made our trip even more memorable. Although the carpet was a bit dated, we hardly noticed it until the end of our stay, as we were out exploring most of the time. It certainly didn’t detract from the overall comfort and cleanliness of the room. If you're looking for a well-located, stylish hotel with attentive service and cozy amenities, Hotel Monterey Grasmere Osaka is a great choice. We'd happily stay here again!

Convenient location. The front desk staff is not there in the morning or past 10pm, so if you need anything like towels outside of these hours, it may be difficult to get. They also don’t offer room cleaning when we stayed there for 3-4 nights. The bathrooms are soooo tiny, but that may be common in Japan.
