"The hotel was very well maintained. It is a 5 minute walk from the jr rail line. It is attached to the mall with a food court on the 1st floor and the 5th floor is full of restsurants."

"Great hotel within 5-10minutes walk from the main JR station. Comfortable rooms and great to have onsen on the top floor. Free noodles and ice cream a bonus. Staff were very friendly."

If you were traveling alone, like me, it is no big deal. If you will be sharing a room I don’t think it is a deal breaker, but something to consider."

"A good place to stay, excellent location for Chinatown and some of the churches and port Good, helpful staff, basic room but good for what we needed. When it rained we could use the laundry. Only thing, I booked as we had a rental car, a keicar, but the height was only 155m for the car park which I didn't realise so had to find parking elsewhere. Car park opposite was fine but be aware of that if you have a car."

"The Unzen ration is very Sulphur based - don’t smells very bad ! This hotel has amazing gardens but the food is very bad for an expensive Onsen ! We are on a 10 day Onsen trip and this is the worst food we have eaten - go somewhere else "
