"We stayed 1 night, we were passing through (off season). Few guests, all quiet, morning breakfast alright, price was fair. Shower and restrooms adequate with soap and plenty of hot water, towels provided in good condition. The only issue i had was that this lodge was very far from the road, up a gravel road with no guard rails at all. Either it was not disclosed or i didnt find it on the website. Very scary getting up to the lodge after sunset, in the dark, dodging rabbits left and right."

"We had a lovely stay at this tiny house, located about 35 km away from Christchurch. The place was very clean, cosy and well organised, and it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. There was convenient parking right near the house, which made our stay very easy. The view was beautiful and very relaxing, and the location was quiet and peaceful. The host was friendly and communication was smooth. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend this tiny house to anyone looking for a calm and comfortable getaway near Christchurch."
