The host was very friendly. Breakfast was amazing! On the down side unloading our luggage from parking to front of house, also not having a bathroom within our room was inconvenient. Otherwise perfect!

Big hot breakfast, awesome hosts and an awesome restaurant and board games the second largest in Canada that the same hosts have just down the street. Totally worth it,we only needed to eat at the B&B,and his restaurant. 10 out of 10.

So glad we stayed here!
Lovely interesting old building. Friendly, personable hard working young couple run the hotel. Don’t miss out on a meal at their bistro the “Moque Tortue” two blocks down from the hotel. The food here is excellent and very good value. I had the lobster, and because they were on the small side Sebastien served me two. Delicious. Excellent breakfast cooked to order the next morning. Wish we had booked for more than one night.

The breakfast was excellent and the host took time to visit with us during and after breakfast. Beds were comfortable. Liked the full length mirror on the back of the closet door. Inconvenient having to go down the hall to the bathroom, especially since it was next to the breakfast room. Also quite noisy with street noise.

Our host was very accommodating, the only thing I wasn’t crazy about was having to an external bathroom especially during the night, however I was made aware of that when I booked the room. The breakfasts were very tasty and well presented. Thanks Sebastian

Delighted
The hosts and housekeeper are so very friendly. Room and bathroom were spacious and comfortable. The original features of the place add such warmth and charm. Breakfast was amazing. A perfectly delicious and relaxing start to the day. We slept so well, though the mattress was on the firm side.

Happy with our stay
The home is clean and run by a very attentive family. A delicious freshly made breakfast awaits each morning. The host is helful and very knowledgeable about the area. We stayed in the upstairs two room "suite" which is very awkwardly arranged - the rooms are joined by a walkthrough bathroom, but it was manageable. Other rooms were of a slightly higher standard with a fireplace. Hot water, wifi and TV all worked fine.There is a fridge and kitchen available for guest use.

My husband and I stayed here for one night and we had a wonderful time.Our room was on the second floor.It was small but very clean and comfortable.We had a private bathroom with a small walk in shower.There was a full guest kitchen on our level with a fridge for guests to store food,as well as complimentary tea and coffee.Our hosts also own a restaurant close by so they ask guests to call 15 minutes before arrival so they can greet you.Sebastien cooked us an amazing breakfast with fresh fruit,croissants,bacon and eggs.He was a very gracious host with a great passion and knowledge about food and board games.Their restaurant, Le Moque-Tortue Bistro is also definitely worthy of a visit.

Likes-Friendly,charming,helpful & knowledgeable host. Very tasty breakfast served right on time. Historic home that's been upgraded but has retained it's earlier charm. Close to everything but still a peaceful location.7 doors away from a very nice Bistro with games room, escape room and great food. Dislikes-Couldn't stay longer!

Le Griffon is so peaceful and clean, we felt so at home here. We had a wonderful sleep in a great room. Staff are friendly and welcoming. It was a short visit but we will stay again...shediac is a great town.

An interesting hotel that is very artsy in nature and styles its interior as vintage; close to (on) the main street which is near the major tourist attractions in Shediac and also near the highway to Moncton. It is a mom and pop operation, not a chain style hotel experience. The folks who own this hotel also operate a restaurant and it was evident by their breakfast which was customized and above average.

I loved the old 18 century Victorian style house. It is abeautiful quite, clean, very comfortable family business that offers the most welcoming comfort, style & services. I loved details in the theme Alice in Wonderland, where time stands still and they serve the best Seafood 🦞 chowder, every bite full of fresh local seafood... oh my! The best i’ve ever eaten. Thank you Heather and Sebastian for letting me stay in your home and meet your family. Remarkably a beautiful B&B ❤️

Good location in town. Room on small side but to be expected when staying at a heritage bldg. Hosts were fantastic and The breakfasts prepared by Sebastian were by far the best we had in our three week trip to The Maritimes Recommend this BandB to everyone

Beautiful heritage property owned by a lovely young hard working couple. Easy to find, on Main St, busy thoroughfare, as a result a little noisy - our room faced the main street. Breakfast was spectacular - delicious! Heather and her husband lovely people. Woukd recommend the stay - but anyone that has troubles with stairs may not find it easy. Old beautiful house - character house - not handicapped accessible. Close amenities all around..great seafood restaurants a short drive/walk. Parlee Beach a 15 minute drive away- a must if you love the ocean!

Our hosts were very accommodating for our late arrival. The room was very comfortable and clean. We liked it enough that we booked another night. We will definitely stay there on our next trip to Shediac.

Beautiful old building with tastefully selected furniture and an awesome ambiance. Sebastian was the ultimate host and the breakfast was cooked to order by our host. The croissants and fresh fruit salad were excellent, along with the rest of the food. Close to downtown and beaches, good off-street parking.

The Great Griffon
Sebastian and Heather have made this friendly and warm yet tightly run 19th century home B&B just adorable. Don't be fooled by the lack of a big sign out front -- it looks just like another vintage old house on the street. Rooms are well appointed with a lots of period furniture and full modern amenities. Great breakfast by Sebastian in the communal kitchen that allows guests to store and use the facility during the day. Very good pointers on things to do locally and indeed throughout Maritime Canada by the proprietors, who obviously enjoy and do well with their new establishment. Shediac may seem a bit out of the way to some, but the area is quaint, and the Irving arboretum and especially the long dune walk out of town are a must.

Quiet, relaxing, and all around lovely
There's a little whimsy in this B and B: all the rooms are themed for Alice in Wonderland, so I was instantly charmed by that. (and got to stay in the Cheshire Cat room, perfect!). The room was large and comfortable, and although there wasn't a table or desk in the room, I simply went into the nearby guests' kitchen to work for a while before retiring. I had to be on the road early (before breakfast) and my hosts kindly made me up a breakfast to go. Shediac is a lovely community and this Inn is a wonderful addition.

The best hosts ever
We checked in at dinner time after a long day of driving. The family invited us to join them for dinner, which we did and enjoyed a most enjoyable evening with children, parents, grandparents. Lovely. Our room was beautiful and we had a great breakfast cooked just for us to start us on our way. Sebastian and Heather gave wonderful directions with places to see along the way. Our stay couldn't have been better.
