  • Our farmhouse is listed on the National Historical Registry. It is the perfect home base for your trip to Sharpsburg. With 4 bedrooms, including 2 twin bed, 2 sofa beds, 2 queen beds, and 1 full bed, there's plenty of space for all guests. The 2 bathrooms are equipped with a bathtub and a hair dryer. In addition, the living room offers extra sleeping space with a cozy sofa bed. Enjoy the superb amenities such as a washer and dryer, AC, Wifi, swimming pool in season and the peaceful quiet of country. Experience what Sharpsburg has to offer with a stay at our quaint farmhouse. Located just 20 minutes from Mt Sterling, KY, home of Mt Sterling Court Days, also 20 minutes from, Carlisle, KY, home of the Blackberry Festival. Our beautiful country farm is home to Bob the donkey, 2 horses, chickens, ducks, sheep and llama; oh and of course cats and dogs.

Pleasant time

Very clean, quiet and peaceful. A few "blips" but all was handled well. Also...the TP situation should be explained ahead of time.

The property was as described. It’s a charming old farmhouse with a newly renovated kitchen with all of the tools you could need. Other folks mentioned that the plumbing is old and they ask that you put toilet paper in the trash cans not the toilet. That was not really a problem for us. The hosts ( and farm animals) were very welcoming. The property around the house is gorgeous and we loved the swimming pool. We didn’t leave the property for the whole weekend and had a great time!

Everything about my stay was wonderful. The host was very attentive to every detail and when I needed to reach out for some information, she responded right away . She answered all my questions and assured me if I needed anything to reach out to her. The home is beautiful, clean, fully stocked, and so peaceful. The scenery was great. This home was like being on a happy vacation somewhere amazing set in a rural country setting. I can’t wait until we can go back for another vist.

We loved our stay at the farmhouse! It is beautifully decorated with antiques to honor its rich history, but also has an updated kitchen and laundry room for modern conveniences. The property stunning. We enjoyed our days swimming in the saltwater pool and our nights watching the beautiful sunsets and starry skies. The farm animals roam the property and are very friendly. The owners live near the house and are attentive and helpful if needed. They even delivered farm fresh eggs and vegetables! Such a welcome escape from the city!
