"Booked room 7 on Expedia, but never received check in information. Had to call and they quickly sent info. Room was large with a cute small balcony; a bit dated but clean (except for someone’s clothes in the dresser) and they thoughtfully had turned the a/c on to very cool ahead of our arrival. Thoughtful amenities in very clean bathroom. Safe in closet, small fridge and microwave (that we didn’t use so I can’t speak to their functionality or cleanliness. Bed was 8/10 comfort-wise with plenty of pillows. Be aware if you have a cpap machine only the right side of the bed has a nightstand and an outlet. Restroom was GREAT."

"Neil was great communicating how to access the room. And, additional printed instructions were helpful for the A/C unit. Everything was clean which is always something I look for. Bathroom was newly done and very nice. I was confused with the listing as the photo labeled “Exterior” is a stone/brick building and the “Parking” all in downtown Jasper. The listing said “Studio Apartment”- which I feel is not accurate as there’s no kitchen?? I think a more accurate description would be, “Guest Suite” or “Guest Quarters”?? It was a nice hotel suite, not an apartment. I was surprised when I arrived at a residential neighborhood and a single family house. There were no photos of the front of this at all. As a solo female traveler, I would not have selected this knowing this was the set up. I thought I was renting a studio apartment in a multi-unit building with the front entrance through a common access door- not an exterior patio door through the backyard. The unit itself was fine. I just felt the listing was a bit misleading by not clarifying it was within someone’s house that was still being occupied."

"This location is perfect if you are looking for peace, quiet, and comfort. Just pulling out of the drive one morning we saw four big bucks and a turkey. Nightime is lit up by the fireflies. The host was very responsive to the questions that I did have. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it!"

"Very nice house, small bathroom door didn’t shut and the same bathroom toilet needs fixin the water runs constantly if you don’t jiggle the handle. Not a big deal just needs attention. Beautiful location on the lake tons of wild animals around so fun and entertaining. "
