"the overall feel and environment of the inn. Plenty of open space to settle down by oneself or with friends to relax, read or play a game. Breakfast was excellent and the staff informative, helpful and courteous. I am also a fan of Edna St Vincent Millay and to remember that she read her poetry at the Inn was a plus. The walk to town was easy and the old homes along the way as well at the trees and flowers will provide a peaceful joy to your day."
"Very easy and friendly check in and out processes. Room was very clean and just right for our overnight, after an 80th birthday party at the Samoset resort 5 minutes down the road. Nice breakfast on the deck. Highly recommend."
"This was a very pleasing location/atmosphere. Neither pizza nor breakfast was particularly interesting, but they were adequate and it was helpful to have access to food at that location."
"The staff were very helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The shower curtain was past due for being changed though. I was looking forward to the breakfast, as I had read it was really good, but I was not really impressed with it. The choices were not great and the pastries appeared to be old. I will say the coffee was pretty good, but larger cups would have been nice. The scenery of the ocean was awesome. Overall, for the price paid I would rate it a B-."

"The check-in process was disastrous. The address on the confirmation was not the address to the actual check-in office which was on a completely different road. The property itself was excellent, so my only issue was with the lack of information provided in advance to be able to easily find the office and check-in. I do recommend this property overall."
"Eric is a lovely host! I came to Frenchboro for the first time with only my dog. I brought my car for ease of bringing food and my paddleboard. We stayed 4 nights and I would have stayed longer had the ferry schedule been different. If you want to manage some planning and are looking for an extremely quite Acadia getaway Eric’s cabin checks all the boxes! Make sure you visit the library, museum/gift shop. The trails are beautiful - plenty to explore for as many days as you decide to stay for."
