The Yangtze is a great hotel. This is our third stay here and we are going back next week before our trip ends. The staff are all very helpful. Our flight arrived early in the morning and we were able to leave our bags with concierge until we could check in properly. Our room was a really spacious room and the bath and shower area was big! The bath itself is huge and really deep (we don’t have a bath at home so we really appreciated it). One minor issue with the turndown service, they only turndown one side of the bed, but there was two of us so one of us was left out every night. Overall, a very comfortable hotel and very well located!

The staff members are professional and friendly. Some supplies accessories, such as hangers, iron and iron stand, drawers, etc. are rather old indicating that the management has not noticed it at all.

The hotel is located at a very convenient location, metro is just across the street, Nanjing east walking street just a short 5 mins walk and raffles city shopping also just across the street. Rooms are spacious and clean. Only thing is the hotel is a tad old. Overall a great experience!

Good location for shopping and eating and visiting the bund. Staff are helpful too. Only problem is some rooms only have a deep soaking bathtub and a rain shower above. Not convenient for the elderly or those who prefer to use a shower head.

The staff of the hotel are welcoming, helpful, informative and attentive. Few minutes walking distance to the train station and few convenience stores around the hotel. A lot of local small eateries surrounding the hotel. Conveniently located in between Shimao Shopping Center and Raffles City Shopping Center. The hotel rooms still need a bit refurbishing as it is dated, however it is still acceptable as they are clean, useable and spacious.

Nice boutique hotel in great location. Ray the concierge was fantastic, very helpful and friendly with good English. Excellent breakfast. Our room was very nice but the aircon wouldn’t drop below 22.5 which was a bit hot for a comfortable sleep in the heat of the summer and the water leaked from the shower into the toilet area making the floor very slippery.

A nice hotel

We had a suite with a balcony. The room was nice and clean and the bathroom had a deep tub and a Japanese toilet which we always love in hotels. It was about a 10 minute walk to the Bund and the streets often have murals which is interesting and pretty. Breakfast had a choice of local and western foods. The metro is literally across the road and we used it to go everywhere. People Square is a 5 minute walk. It was always busy with lots of people with laminates (I learnt from our reception that it was grandparents with details about their grandchildren- rather like real life Tinder!!) Theres a big Mall at the end of the road by the Metro station.

Large room with super huge bathroom. However, water pressure in shower was weak. When bathtub is being filled up (which takes ages), the shower cannot be used cos no water. Room too dimly lit. Beds felt worn. The room was very quiet. Superb location, just next to Nanjing pedestrian street. Plenty of dining options and cafes around. Hotel breakfast was in a cosy room. Whilst food selection is limited, the quality is good. Bfast also serve local noodles which is really delicious. Staff very attentive and helpful. They were friendly to chat and offer tips on where to go. Overall, excellent stay.
