This is not a 4-star hotel. It is more reasonable to say it is a 2-star hotel.

Basic

The stay was ok. There were stains on the carpet and didnt have any non-smoking rooms. There is construction work around thw hotel and makes the surroundings non inviting

It was cheap for a reason

They don't speak English in this hotel. The room was shabby with mould up the wall and paper peeling off. The room seemed basic wipe clean, not actually clean. Major roadworks on Pudong Avenue meant every time a taxi drops you off, they get lost. Hailing a taxi is impossible, as none will drive by. No metro station nearby and a fairly long taxi ride to Pudong and Shanghai centre. The breakfast was not at all catering for western tastes and was rather poor, but only a few pounds - not worth it. Nothing to do nearby and would not recommend. My fridge was broken and I stayed 5 nights asking everyday for a working fridge for my injections to be stored in. I sent an email using google translate and even translated my request on my phone to the front desk. Wifi is only available in the lobby and you can only plug in to the room - that didn't work most of the time. They don't offer the password either, you have to take your laptop to them, as they simply didn't understand. Very disappointing

택시기사들이 대부분 잘 모르는 호텔

우선 숙박은 나쁘지 않았네요. 나름 조용한편이고 무난하게 숙박할 수 있는 호텔입니다. 그러나 공항에서 이곳에 오는데도 그렇고 다른곳에서 호텔로는 등 한번에 온적이 없었네요. 영어를 모르는건 이해하지만 호텔을 모르더군요. 지도랑 구글맵등을 동원해서 겨우겨우 찾아가더군요. 그게 조금 불편했을뿐 시설은 가격대비해서 괜찮은것 같습니다.
